In Memphis, sometime in the 70s or 80s, about 10 men took 2 policemen hostage and then killed them. The SWAT team surrounded the residence, moved in, and all of the perps were shot on the spot! I was living there at the time. Made us all proud!
I was hoping that Tennessee LE would have caught up with this murdering couple.

No, they dont. And when several of us pointed this out in a constructive way on the last major thread, we were flamed for being disrespectfull of the police.
Of course, it is just the opposite. We respect LE and demand the best for them, including proper equipment and higher standards including range time.
They bungled this. They even would not review tapes of the event right away.
