Tracy is best known for her role as Captain Elizabeth Lochley on Babylon Five. The first time the public at large learned of Tracy Scoggins, she was three years old and the Galveston Daily News did a feature article on the youngest citizen ever to apply for and receive a library card. The following fifteen years saw numerous reports of Tracy's athletic accomplishments. Her parents home was filled with trophies from her victories, often for sports in which many told her she was too tall to excel (i.e. gymnastics, springboard diving). "There is no inspiration more powerful to me than the opposition of some joyless nay-sayer," she smiles, "so Hollywood provides the perfect setting for my prosperity." In addition to her film, television and stage work, Tracy takes on other projects that she believes in. This was made evident when she teamed up with Black Entertainment Television's popular talk show Other Voices host, Bev Smith, to host the video Rape is Not An Option. The video makes a convincing case for rape prevention, providing several highly effective, common-sense self-defense techniques which require no special skills. Rape is Not An Option was "Highly Recommended" in both Library Journal and Video Rating Guide. Known for her athletic prowess, Tracy was a natural to star in two workout videos. In Tough Stuff, which she also produced, she leads a plyometric workout with friends Marcus Allen, former world champion boxer Carlos Palomino and pro-beach volleyball player Randy Stoklos. The second video, Mind Your Body on ABC Home Video, combines a high energy workout with Tracy's motivational coaching.

In 1998 Aaron ran for the Republican nomination for governor of the state of Nevada. In 2000, he supported the Libertarian party.

The term "maximizing one's potential" could have been coined to describe the life of Jimmie Walker, who strode out of the New York ghetto first to educate himself and then to become one of the best-known television personalities in the United States. Walker was born June 25, 1947, in the depths of New York's South Bronx, famed for burnt-out buildings, pervasive neglect and disrepair but, to a very young boy, it was nothing more than "the neighborhood." Walker has been doing hard-hitting political and issue oriented talk radio for over a quarter century and has worked for a number of stations around the country, including "710 Talk in LA," WHIO in Dayton Ohio, WOAI in San Antonio, and WLS in Chicago. Jimmie 'JJ' Walker can be heard on HuskeRadio 1290 KKAR in Omaha, NE from 3pm to 6pm every weekday. Walker currently tours the country 25-30 weeks a year doing his stand-up comedy, and also performs on late night T.V. and game shows. In his spare time he writes scripts for T.V. and movies.

I always find that there is a catch with people like her, some form of hypocrisy, Barbra Streisand won't go to Colorado because they passed a law that was a little prejudicial to gays, but I'll bet she'll go to Havana, Cuba, where they quarantine gays.
It's very easy for people in Hollywood or Hyannisport or these rich enclaves to say so-and-so should be penalized for not hiring certain minorities. But Hollywood is the most anti-affirmative action town in America. You name me one black or Hispanic head of a studio or agency. They may throw out a token. But they shouldn't criticize General Motors when they're worse.
Oliver Stone says Hollywood is the most democratic town in America. If it's so democratic, why isn't there a policy that allows any actor to go up to the front gate of a studio and try out for any movie? It's a caste system.
One guy asked me, 'How can you be an actor and be a Republican?' I can vote either way. But how can you boil it down to [political affiliation]? All the atrocities against blacks in the South were committed by Democratic sheriffs.

During his service with the Marines in World War II, he helped build safe houses in France for those hiding from the Nazis. Danny Aiello
A lifelong resident of New York City, Danny Aiello began acting in his mid 30's and set the tone for his career by immediately earning a Theatre World Award for his debut in "Lamppost Reunion." With a reputation for no-holds-barred stage and screen performances which are brimming with honest emotion, Aiello's portrayal of Cher's jilted fiance in Moonstruck endeared him to film audiences. As 'Sal' in Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing, Aiello received unanimous acclaim including Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actor, and was named Best Supporting Actor by the Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago Film Critics Associations.

Hailing from a working class family, Danny and his six siblings were raised almost single-handedly by their mother. From early childhood, Aiello worked an endless series of jobs including selling newspapers and shining shoes at Grand Central Station. As a teenager, he served a three-year stint in the Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Upon his return to the States, he became so caught up in a decidedly working class existence that being an actor was the furthest thing from his mind.

When he was laid off from his position as the President of the Greyhound Bus Union in his mid-30's, Aiello landed a job as a bouncer at New York's comedy club, The Improvisation, and began to fill-in as an emcee. In spite of the fact that he had never even seen a play, he had an instinct that acting might make for an interesting career.

With absolutely no formal training, his award-winning debut performance in "Lamppost Reunion" led to a number of prominent theatre credits including "Knockout," Woody Allen's "The Floating Light Bulb," and "The House of Blue Leaves." He received an Obie Award for his starring role in "Gemini" -- a role he later recreated on Broadway. He also received a Faberge Award and two Jefferson Nominations for "That Championship Season." Additionally, he received unanimous critical acclaim and an LADCC Best Actor Award for his "on-the-edge" portrayal of 'Phil' in the L.A. debut of "Hurlyburly." His last stage appearance was the 1993 national tour of Tom Dulack's hit comedy, "Breaking Legs," in which he played a "godfather" who becomes the unlikely investor in a prospective off-Broadway show.

Though his work tends to take him away from home for extended periods of time, Aiello devotes as much time as possible giving back to his own community. His many charitable endeavors include public service announcements for Covenant House (a mobile unit that provides food, shelter health care, counseling, education and job training to homeless teens) the United Way of Bergen County, NJ, and the Salvation Army. In addition, Aiello is actively involved with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Hole in the Wall Gang (Paul Newman's Connecticut based organization that helps children with catastrophic diseases), and the Frances Aiello Day Treatment Center in Brooklyn, (an organization named after Aiello's late mother that treats young adults and children who cannot see or hear.)

"My entire family were Democrats all our lives. But because how furious I was about the previous administration and the particular person running that administration," he said, obviously referring to Bill Clinton, "I turned in my card to become a Republican because I did not want to be known as a Democrat under that person's regime. I'm a traditionalist. I have certain values that I live by, and he practices none of those things, so he can never be what I consider to be a great man." "But I don't go around saying he's not my president. He's out of office now, so I can say that I never truly accepted him in my heart. And I'll never say anywhere down the line, I'll never reflect back on this moment in time and say it was a good period for the American people. Because the economy was good, anything goes, and that troubles me." -- Danny Aiello on WABC Radio
"I think many of them (Hollywood liberals) are very comfortable with money and don't have to subject themselves to anything other than say, hey – maybe I'm guilty for having all this, and I want to make believe I'm splitting it with the less fortunate." -- Danny Aiello on WABC Radio

Gary Sinise
Gary Sinise was born in Blue Island, Illinois. His family later moved to Highland Park, where he attended high school. He was something of a rebel, playing in bands but paying little attention to school. Gary and some friends tried out for "West Side Story" as a lark, but Gary was hooked on acting for life by closing night. Gary credits his love for theatre to his drama teacher, Barbara Patterson. In 1974, Gary, Terry Kinney, and Jeff Perry founded the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. Initially performing in a church basement, the company grew and gained stature in the Chicago area. In addition to acting in many plays, Gary also directed some of Steppenwolf's most notable productions, including Sam Shepard's "True West". The company made its Broadway debut with that production, starring Gary and John Malkovich. Gary's Hollywood career also started in the director's chair with two episodes of the stylish TV series "Crime Story" followed in 1988 by the feature "Miles from Home" starring Richard Gere. Gary's first feature film as an actor was the World War II fable "A Midnight Clear" in 1992. That year also found Gary combining his acting and directing talents with the critically acclaimed "Of Mice and Men". His first real notice by the public came in 1994, however. He starred in the blockbuster miniseries "The Stand", rapidly followed by his bravura performance as Lt. Dan in "Forrest Gump". His portrayal of the disabled, emotionally tortured veteran earned Gary numerous awards and an Oscar nomination. Busy 1994 was followed by busy 1995, first reuniting with Tom Hanks in "Apollo 13" and then starring in the HBO film "Truman" which earned him the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards and an Emmy nomination. Gary is married to Moira Harris, an actress and original member of the Steppenwolf company. They have three children, Sophie, McCanna, and Ella. Gary's father is the film editor Robert L. Sinise, A.C.E.
One of those who regularly picks up the phone to volunteer his time is actor Gary Sinise, who, this year, has been to Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Italy, Germany and Fort Stewart, Georgia. Now he's back in Iraq, spending his Thanksgiving vacation shaking hands and talking with the 5,000 soldiers and Marines at one of the USO-sponsored events. Instantly recognizable from his roles in such movies as Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, Truman and dozens of others, Sinise is a favorite among the troops and a strong supporter of the USO, which some people describe as "an island of tranquility in a sea of madness." -- Oliver North writing about Gary Sinise

He was a policeman who took the responsibility of demonstrating to me at a young age the power of a weapon. We went to a shooting range, he showed me what a gun could do and I respected it. There were never any problems. We must instill this in the people of our country, not by introducing thousands of new arcane laws, but by enforcing those good laws already on the books. It is wrong and shameful that some members of congress, like my opponent, are using guns as a negative political wedge issue to scare people this election year.

Dixie Carter is a surprise for many people because of her outspken liberal lines on the TV show Designing Women, which also starred delta Burke. Well, good news anyway and yeah, Holbrook might be conservative. He's certainly within the age group when MOST of Hollywood was conservative.
