don't have time to elaborate - see for yourself. This guy was the one Able Danger team briefed who decided it was not worthy of inclusion into the 9/11 report or even to the ears of comittee members since it did not fit their conclusions about Atta. THIS NEEDS TO P*O*P!

'Fixers' on the 9/11 Commission and its staff: Jamie Gorelick, Richard Ben Veniste, Dietrich Snell, Daniel Marcus, Peter Rundlet (now a paid Soros/Podesta drone). Each of these people has powerful personal links to Bill Clinton and/or failures of his administration to properly address terrorism issues. As for Rundlet, he may turn out to be up to his eyeballs in the cover-up, for he dwells in the heart of beast-land:

Re the 1999 vs 2000 presence of Atta in the US, the discrepancy could be explained by something as mundane as the testifier mixing up "before the millenium" and "before the WTC disaster." Just as we all may be susceptible to writing the wrong year on a check in any January, this particular testifier could have said 1999, when he meant "one year before 9/11."

You might know this, but I want to add it to this thread, and am going to "park" it here. ;*) It is from an article recounting her resignation from the DOJ in 1997.

Who could possible have imagined that the DOD had 10000 LAWYERS! Why!!!!

http://www.usdoj.gov/opa/pr/1997/January97/018dag.htm

Before joining the Department of Justice, Gorelick served
from May 1993 to April 1994 as General Counsel of the Department
of Defense. As General Counsel, she supervised the government's
second-largest "law firm," consisting of 10,000 lawyers.

Gorelick, 46, is a former partner in the Washington law firm
of Miller, Cassidy, Larocca and Lewin, and a former President of
the District of Columbia Bar. She graduated from Harvard College
in 1972, and from Harvard Law School in 1975. She is married to
Richard Waldhorn, M.D., and has two children.

More from the same press release: [the bolding is mine]

Jamie S. Gorelick announced today that she will be resigning from her position as Deputy Attorney General to return to private life. Gorelick said she will remain in office long enough to help Attorney General Janet Reno assemble a team to lead the Department in the Clinton Administration's second term.

As the Justice Department's number two official since March 1994, Ms. Gorelick has served as the Department's chief operating officer, provided overall supervision of the Department, and functioned as the direct manager of its law enforcement components. She is one of the longest serving Deputies in the Department's history, and second woman ever to hold the position.

"Jamie brought tremendous managerial skill, brilliant legal ability, and great sensitivity to an extremely difficult job," said Reno. "Her contributions to the Department are incalculable, and I will miss her greatly, both as a colleague and as a friend."

As Deputy Attorney General, Gorelick introduced new managerial structures to guide the Department in the midst of a 30 percent increase in the Department's personnel and a 70 percent budget increase during her tenure.

One of Ms. Gorelick's principal priorities was to help prepare the Justice Department to be able to respond effectively to the new challenges of transnational crime and terrorism. To do this, she forged new relationships and administrative protocols with the Departments of State, Treasury and Defense, and with the intelligence community.

The Deputy Attorney General also worked with the Department's law enforcement components to better respond to crisis situations in the aftermath of the incidents at Ruby Ridge and Waco. After the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City in April 1995, she coordinated the government's overall response to the bombing and supervised the investigative and prosecutorial response to the crisis.

"In all of her work with law enforcement," Reno added, "Jamie displayed a sensitivity to the civil liberties of our citizens that gave comfort to all of us who care deeply about the Constitution."

WOW, that's a huge find because it confirms that Gorelick was THE Clinton administration "point person" for all legal policies and procedures related to terrorism, across many departments!! This is huge, for it suggests that Gorelick did indeed extend the policies of "the WALL" memo all over the federal government, to all of the departments and agencies dealing with terrorism. Janet Reno's PR describing Gorelick's central role in overseeing ALL legal policies and procedures between various federal government departments and agencies dealing with terrorism:

http://www.usdoj.gov/opa/pr/1997/January97/018dag.htm

We already knew about the 'WALL' memorandum but this PR from Reno boasts that Gorelick was "on point" not only with the FBI but with "the Departments of State, Treasury and Defense, and with the intelligence community." This supports my speculation on another thread that she may well bear some direct or indirect responsibility for the policies and procedures being followed by the still unnamed "Pentagon lawyers" who foolishly blocked the folks at "Able Danger" from sharing info with the FBI!!!!!!! We need to be demanding that investigations into the Able Danger material include a look at WHO set the policies that the "Pentagon lawyers" were following, especially since that points right back to the whole issue of a COVER-UP by the 9/11 Commission that failed to examine the role of one of its own members in creating the conditions in which vital terror info could not be shared among government agencies!!

Holy crap! That is a huge find and certainly puts to bed some of the mantra from the left that the Wall didn't apply to Able Danger. VERY GOOD, MAICA!

I didn't know that DOD had 1,000 attorneys. And I didn't know that Gorelick's Wall applied to ALL branches of government.

C'mon Peach it is much more important for all Americans to know what Cindy Sheehan is wearing each day, and what is happening with the Natalie Hollaway case.
