Able Danger, 9-11 Report, Gorelick, and so much more...
various FR links & stories | 08-12-05 | the heavy equipment guy

Posted on 08/12/2005 12:19:36 PM PDT by backhoe

Below is maybe the best summary of this treason.
 http://www.americanthinker.com/articles.php?article_id=4656

This is the most interesting thread I have been on in sometime. This is when FR shines if you ask me because everyone is adding more of the puzzle pieces--
THE 9/11 COMMISSION IN MORTAL DANGER -- The best summary I've read yet about this massive coverup. Anyone doubt what Sandy berger was trying to shove down his pants now?  Archives Search Results.. Sandy Berger and SoxGate
 The Gorelick article index
Agreed -- it is explosive. Therefore, the media will start making excuses and hide the facts. Folks in new media will have to work really really hard to make sure this information gets out to the public, and let the facts tell the story.
We can now see that, in addition to Gorelick's outrageous conflict-of-interest, at least THREE of the most senior staff members of the 9/11 Commission also had blatant conflicts-of-interest:  http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1461683/posts?q=1&&page=101
At Power Line a while back was this concerning what was really to be covered up...  A Motive For Berger's Bizarre Behavior?
Gorelick also sits on the board of directors of Schlumberger, a leading oilfield services provider with interests in Iraq... This has the feel of being the tie-in between 9-11, Iraq, the bizarre behavior of the Democrats, and the Oil For Food program. If so, it's no wonder there was such effort to hide information, as well as the opposition to Bolton's appointment...
The Washington Post and New York Times reported in March and April that the five documents stolen by Sandy the Burglar were different versions of Richard Clarke's classified millennium "after action review" from early 2000. He also took the handwritten notes he made in the National Archive about the after action review.
Here are two *other* 9/11 factoids that didn't make the 9/11 Commission's report:9/11/2001 hi-jackers used ID of dead 9/11/2000 attacker to rent car
THE RAW DATA FROM FOXNEWS. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,165408,00.html
Gorelick was deeply compromised by a conflict of interest obvious to the dumbest taxi driver...
Check this out...Datamatix Personalities from other parts of the World: (Al Gore, Tipper, Howard Dean, Sandy Berger, Robert Gates(CIA)....)
 Curt Weldon was on C-SPAN's Washington Journal Wednesday morning. He obviously has questions and he wants answers. I don't believe he is going to let go of this. Good overview.  http://www.c-span.org/VideoArchives.asp?z1=&PopupMenu_Name=Defense/Security&CatCodePairs=Issue,DESE;

I need to dig up some old threads I saved on the more suspicious Commission members. Here's one with some stuff on Ben-Veniste:

Richard Clarke's Pentagon Papers/VVAW Connection (starting Post 44)

A few with stuff on Gorelick:

But it does involve the FBI and the Defense Department. Ed Morrissey, Jim Geraghty and other bloggers have some thoughts on what Geraghty says could be "one of the biggest stories to come down the pike in a while". Geraghty's post is a great way to get up to speed quickly on the topic.

The Able Danger project team tried three times, Fox reports, to give the information on Atta to the FBI in 2000. Each time, administration attorneys blocked their efforts.
Meanwhile, via The Anchoress, Dr. Sanity looks at a possible connection between this, Sandy Berger, and his pants.

9/11 Report Missed Key Facts; 'Huge Deal,' Lawmaker Says -- Well, that just stinks to high heaven! Sounds like we need to clean out the Senate of all the boneheads who enacted the laws (and reaffirmed them year after year by doing nothing) that allowed such a disconnect to occur. This has happened over years and years of neglect and politics.
I don't know why I've been in quite a foul mood of late, but it gets worse and worse each time I drive by a gas station and see the price of gas going up, up, up! I think about how there are folks out there who could barely afford gas when it was $1.50/gallon, and now it's a dollar more/gallon. Who controls the price of oil? (I know this has nothing to do with the Gorelick Wall, but I'm just fed up!) This Gorelick Wall stuff fuels my foul mood.

House Floor Statement by Rep Weldon. June 27,2005( Ignored by the MSM ) Full Trancript, Long read

"When Gorelick took office in 1994, the CIA was reeling from the news that a Russian spy had been found in CIA ranks, and Congress was hungry for a quick fix. A month after Gorelick was sworn in, Bill Clinton issued Presidential Decision Directive 24. PDD 24 put intelligence gathering under the direct control of the president’s National Security Council, and ultimately the White House, through a four-level, top-down chain of command set up to govern (that is, stifle) intelligence sharing and cooperation between intelligence agencies. From the moment the directive was implemented, intelligence sharing became a bureaucratic nightmare that required negotiating a befuddling bureaucracy that stopped directly at the President’s office.

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper “Al-Nasiriya” carried a column headlined, “American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin.” (July 21, 2001)

In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US “with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.”

The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden “will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,” and that the US “will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs” – an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, “New York, New York”.

What else didn't make it into the 911 report?

This, for one thing:

[VANITY] Help find the Jan 10th edition of New York Magazine cover (Able Danger coverup)

The Gunny Is Starting To Freak Out -- On April 19, 2004, I published a column on Men's News Daily saying the 9-11 Commission would fail for a multitude of reasons, one of which was a blatant conflict of interest regarding commission member and rabid Clintonista Jamie Gorelick

 9/11 Commission Transcript: U. S. Attorney General John Ashcroft - Wednesday, April 14, 2004

U.S. knew of al Qaeda cell before 9/11 -- “Able Danger,” identified a terrorist cell based in Brooklyn, NY

Rush Limbaugh: Clinton Administration's Gorelick Wall Prevented Arrest of Mohammed Atta -- Could it be that it was documents related to this issue that Burger was hiding his pants?

WELDON'S SPECIAL ORDER ON "ABLE DANGER" ~~ The truth behind Sept 11, 2001..... -- I love the liberal bumper sticker that says, "when clinton lied no one died". I just say to them-- oh, what about the 3000+ on 9/11 now I can really rub it in.. More of the BJs legacy.

'POST-IT' BLUNDER -- Wasn't it Jamie Gorelick that implemented the policy that intellegence can't tell the FBI about stuff? And wasn't this just about the time that Charlie Tree was funneling money into the Clinton coffers?

Four in 9/11 Plot Are Called Tied to Qaeda in '00 -- This article is MUST reading. There is a ton of highly classified stuff in this report, which I think cuts closer to reality than most "for public consumption" stuff the sheeple are fed. Particulary note the importance of "data mining"--

Today's New York Times reveals that military intelligence had identified the core of the 9/11 cell more than a year before the attacks that killed 3,000 people.  Comments (14)

 The Mother Lode:

Quick - google Dietrich Snell. Explains a lot about AttaGate. -- Holy crap.  This is Buckhead stuff.   Look at this:
Abdul Hakim Murad, a conspirator in the 1995 Bojinka plot with Ramzi Yousef, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, and others, was convicted in 1996 of his role in the Bojinka plot (see January 6, 1995). He is about to be sentenced for that crime.
9/11 Y2K; the 9/11 attack that happened BEFORE 2001 (Free Republic Exclusive) ...
Two years ago, federal prosecutors turned down a cooperation offer from a terrorist who claimed he was part of a well-financed 1995 plot to crash an airplane into the CIA headquarters.
Investigator: Bin Laden Approved Plot Two Years Before 9/11
"The Feds made a big deal out of grabbing the overweight, bug eyed KSM in March of 2003 in Pakistan, but by my reckoning they had blown at least two chances to grab him earlier before all those people died on 9/11 -- once in 1995 the day Yousef was caught and later in 1996 when the Feds learned KSM was in Doha, Qatar, and cooled their heels waiting while a Qatari official spirited him out of the country to the Czech Republic."

We need to keep all these articles about Snell:
Much of it is in the pages of Cover Up:

Wow...good catch. As I have said before, the OKC investigation is also involved (which Gorelick squashed, see links below) and then there is the Iraq connection...from my files:

Ramzi Yousef (1993 WTC) and Terry Nichols (OKC) crossed paths in the Phillipines. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (9/11)was Yousef's uncle. It is interesting to note that Yousef entered the United States on an Iraqi passport and had been known among the New York fundamentalists as "Rashid, the Iraqi". Another name that could be thrown into the mix is Abdul Rahman Yasin, a U.S. citizen who moved to Iraq in the 1960's and returned to the U.S. in 1992. After the 1993 WTC bombing, Yasin fled to Iraq and was given monthly salary and housing by Saddam Hussein's regime.

I see some extremely damaging facts related to Gorelickgate. However, I see a lot of other dots that aren't really connected and a lot of conjecture. A lot more research will need to be done before this really takes off. Also, it would be useful if someone compiled all these disparate facts and timelines into one cohesive easy-to-read document. Sheesh. Feels like I need a Cliff notes just to keep abreast of all the rumours sprinkled with facts.

We need an independent prosecutor. I understand that Ken Starr is looking for work...
-----
And he would be just the man go nail Clinton, and his "mafia minions"...Gorellick and Reno should be at the top of the list. Also primary, is the exposure of the 9/11 commission for what it was -- A SHAM UPON THE AMERICAN PUBLIC TO HIDE what we knew AND WHO KNEW IT which could have most likely prevented 9/11 from occurring.

Heads should roll big time in this -- otherwise the credibility of the American government is toast...

Calling all bloggers!!! I really hope a blogger or even a journalist can get some additional documentary evidence or a whistleblower. To date, noone really KNOWS what Sandy stuffed in his pants, noone knows if President Clinton knew about Atta

Yes, but be careful. Arksidents do happen.

as Rush was saying today, and he was clear about it - both parties function to protect the political class in this country, to see to it that no matter what happens, no one in the political class is blamed.

that's why you don't see any of the top leaders on our side calling for a full investigation. it should have been obvious that 9-11, happening just 7 months after Clinton left office, meant that somewhere, someplace, during his 8 years stewardship of this nations military, intelligence, and DOJ apparatus - that this information was known. and now we know it.

Jamie Gorelick was effectively THE Attorney General during most of this period, as Janet Reno was in a state of virtual paralysis, unable to make so much as a declarative sentence, without falling back on some obscure reason that she 'could not comment on that'.

And Jamie Gorelick was the MOST instrumental in keeping this information compartmentalized and bottled up, both during her tenure in office, and on the 9/11 Commission. Nobody seemed to question her presence on that panel, or that she seemed not to be willing to volunteer information about whatever position she held with the regime of the "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001".

"Lame" takes on a whole new definition and dimension.

I know why. God had sent the regime of the "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001" as a sort of Old Testament test of the right of mankind to justify itself in the sight of God. Had we failed, we would have suffered the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. As it was, only a couple small licks of flame were sent against New York City and the Pentagon. From time to time, a couple more flickers have occurred in Madrid and London, and possibly Sharm El Sheikh.

Does anybody really doubt divine intervention in averting a much wider disaster?

We can pretty well figure IT WASN'T the same thing Al Gore had stuffed in his.

Why is NONE of this on the news, not even Fox News? Perhaps they need a bit more encouragement, I am tired of sensationalism as a constant theme. The 9-11 story posted here is far more important in my life then Aruba.

Lee Hamilton is already preparing the cover-up. I've watched him a couple of times today and he appears to be treading water waiting for the cover-up boat to arrive.

they only care about ratings - nothing else. they will cover this stupid Aruba case until they see the ratings fall off, then they will dump that story. in the meantime, real stories get totally pushed off the air.

Another stellar job putting it altogether in a one-stop-shopping location. Way to go, backhoe!

Here is something to keep a watch for ... if the faux commission rejected the Able Danger information since it put Atta in the US prior to when Immigration pegged Atta's visa entry, then Atta must have been in the country illegally ergo the statement that the Army couldn't share the data since Atta was in the country on a visa was incorrect and by the commission's own reasoning, Atta would have been in NY illegally and information sharing was fair game!

I would agree with Rush, we have criminals protecting criminals. Clinton should swing for the last and final time for this. And the list of accomplices is long...

The whole thing stinks -- and we know where the stink was being controlled from. The "wall" should have been torn down and basically, Clinton and his minions prevented that from happening...

I just heard Chris Wallace on Howie Carr's show. He gives a rundown on his Sunday Fox show every Friday afternoon. Howie asked him about the Able Danger report and he actually said they he could care less. Howie was stupified but he just reiterated that it just wasn't important.

Thanks for the hard work of connecting dots backhoe - truly awesome research here.

Now is the time for all good men (and women if you happen to be one) to come to the aid of their country - we can't count on the media doing it. To paraphrase M. Savage - this could very well be the last nail in Hillary's coffin - she was co-president for crying out loud.

Nice work putting all of this together. As I said to another Freeper earlier today, the people here at FreeRepublic are pretty darn good at 'datamining'

This is huge! I'm forwarding this link to my interested parties as the truth is out there. Thank the Good Lord for FreeRepublic!!!

And .. it was rumored (but not confirmed) that Gorelick had already been tapped by Kerry to be his Attorney General.

Can you imagine ..?? I'm glad to see these Clinton cronies finally being exposed.

In Mark 4:22 - "There is nothing covered which will not be seen openly, and nothing has been made secret which will not come to light." I'd rather believe GOD's word and have patience - and now - here it comes - all the garbage the dems tried to hide - it's all coming out in the open.

GOD must really like us a lot because we have dodged a huge bullet for quite some time.
