The photo Cindy Sheehan did not want the world to see: President Bush plants a consoling kiss on the cheek of grieving antiwar protester Cindy Sheehan last year at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Mrs. Sheehan is staging a protest vigil in Crawford, Texas demanding a second meeting with President Bush to demand an explanation for why her son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq a year ago April.
The photo of the president consoling Mrs. Sheehan, and a companion photo from the meeting, used to be hosted on Mrs. Sheehan's tribute site to her son. The site, called Casey's Peace Page also contains information about Mrs. Sheehan's antiwar and anti-Bush activities.
However, the photos were removed some time ago, but the hosting page and captions were left there until this week when they were removed along with a copy of the now-controversial Vacaville Reporter article, after that article which contradicts Mrs. Sheehan's current account of her meeting with the president was publicized by the Drudge Report.
The images were found in Google's image cache by Freeper Hipaatwo.

Now can she and Joe Wilson go read the Downing Street Memos at some commune somewhere and invite the press. That way the media won't have to work so hard at stories.

This afternoon Rush said Cindy has been in the company of Wilson of Plame fame.
Clearly they are exploiting her much as Edwards exploited Reeve when he said that if only President Bush allowed embryonic stem cell research, Reeves could get up and walk.

Let the media sweat their coverage a bit, and make some tough decisions.
Some have talked to them. They agree with her original story about how consoling he was, not the "treated like a party" one that she is telling now.

Because she is lying about it and making a media circus out of it. She has probably gotten tens of thousands of dollars in donations.
