But you have to remember her son was killed in April 2004.... that was 16 months ago.

Debilitating grief like you're talking about doesn't tend to last for 16 months without some sort of intervention - by family members, counselors, doctors, medication, etc.

The MSM is trying to play this as if her son was just killed last week or something.

Problem is, with the thumbnails being so small, she could deny it all day.

When confronted with evidence a person knows to be true, they tend to admit things. For example, I've never denied that the content of any of my emails where what was represented, although it would be easy for anyone to alter them without tracability of the alteration.

It takes a real hardened liar to be able to deny evidence you know to be true, without some coaching.

For me it matters because sheehan and the media are putting out an image of a grieving mother who only wants a chance to talk with the President about why her son died in Iraq ..... the image being fostered is that the President is callously snubbing this poor woman, which is patently untrue!

If the media were to tell the truth, the whole truth (and nothing but the truth) sheehan could not be viewed as a victim of Bush's blatant disregard for the families of those who died serving in Iraq ~ which is, obviously from her own words in June of 2004, a totally inaccurate and unfair characterization of the President.
