It's a toss up for me. I go back and forth. I think it tips ever so slightly toward Clinton, since he is responsible for 9/11 and the treasonous sale of highly classified national security information (ballistic missile guidance systems) to the ChiComs for campaign contributions.
On the other hand, Jimmah Islamyah Carter gave away the Panama Canal (ultimately to the ChiComs) and undermines our fighting forces moral everytime he opens his stupic mouth. Oh, and as another Freeper points out, his daughter is butt-ugly.

Jimmy Carter is a doddering wreck of a useful idiot,
Clinton was a criminal from the start, god knows what
will come out of his mouth as he fades into obscurity too.

I'm going to throw in FDR. The New Deal, Social Security, Federal tax withholding leading the expansion of the federal branch of government, and he stocked the federal bureaucracy with Soviet agents.
But Clinton could be worse as time unravels his double dealing.

I am going to go with Clinton. Jimmah Cahtah was just an inept buffoon...Clinton was doing it on purpose... Now, you see, I would have it the other way around for the same reason: Carter was inept and, therefore, BAD. Clinton was crooked, corrupt and immoral on purpose. So, by that definition he was not a "bad" president but a bad man who became president.

WRONG! Herbert Hoover wasn't the "architect" of the Great Depression. It was poor federal reserve policy in the late 1920s that caused the depression. Hoover and Roosevelt only made things worse by their meddling in the economy.

Herbert Hoover, the architect of the great depression Wrong. The stock market was way overvalued at the time, and the crash was a new phenomenon that nobody knew what to do.
Still, Hoover's methods of dealing with it was much better than FDR socialist make-work gov't schemes.
To: hang 'em
It's Carter for me, his middle East policies were the start to much of the Islamo-fascism we face today ie. the ousting of the Shah of Iran, inflation, oil embargos, gas lines, his own cabinet and administration members wouldn't let him do anything by the end of his term.
Clinton wins 1 of 3 falls from Jimmuh, but Mr. Peanut wins the overall title for ineptitude.

Nixon.
Similar domestic policies to LBJ's and almost as dishonest as WJC. And when his crap catches up to him his stink permeates the Republican party, allowing the Democrats to implement their socialist agenda unanswered.

I can only go on what I know from personal experience, so I would say Carter followed by Clinton.
They were both bad for the country in different ways.
Carter was bad because he set the USA up for were we are now with terrorism. He stabbed the Shah in the back, and was too stupid to manage the country. There were some things he couldn't control, but he totally balled up the things that he could.
Clinton was bad for the everlasting damage his administration did to the office of the presidency, and the demolition of our national security.
I like Bush, that is evident, but the thing I do like best is that you know President Bush is there to work, not find playthings to manipulate with cigars. Clinton thought the presidency was his private playground. And like uncultured hillbillies thrust into money, they were grabbing at it with everything they had. Pathetic.

In my life easily Carter, for those too young to remember him(never thought I would hear myself say something like that),one can hardly imagine a more hopeless, frustrating four years.
Beyond that,FDR.We are still burdened by his flirtation with socialism which gave way to Johnson and yes Nixon expanding the welfare state.FDR`s trust of "uncle Joe"Stalin led to the cold war which ultimately during Carters term led to the start of militant, radical Islam.
Quite a line of failure, all drawn by the hand of supposed good intentions.

Carter - the great appeaser. I was in the military from 78 -82 and saw the damage. Carter should have flattened Iran for taking our 52. What the ragheads learned was that they could cut us on the underside when we have an idiot in power. On the flip side, look how fast we got our hostages back the day Reagan became president!
So I lay a lot of the raghead/terrorist problem at his feet.
The ultimate insult was today they named a U.S. submarine after the chicken$hit!
