Congratulations on the role that each of you played today. Reviewing the thread this evening, the quality of your character stands in marked contrast to those on the other side. The photographs show well-adjusted, happy and hard-working people who would happily take the time from their schedules to make a small but important gesture for their country. For many of you this is mission and ministry, of sorts, and that also shows.
Your actions today make our country proud. You showed the respect, dignity and reverence that are so much a part of the American character. You touched many people, and planted more seeds than you will ever know about.
