He already did. This is no longer about Cindy's grief. Her own words make it clear that she has turned that grief to anger and hate and a wholly anti-American agenda in the process...and is walking on the service and death of her own son to do it.

Encouraging that in any way now only emboldens our enemies and gets more sons killed.

Freepers, I need your help. I just returned from Saturday Mass, and our parish priest actually was praising Cindy Sheehan in his homily! My blood pressure rose 100 points sitting there. I want to send him an informative email on Ms. Sheehan and how it was wholly inappropriate to incorporate her antics into Mass. Can anyone freepmail or reply here a good source of bulletin points about her? I want my response to him to be measured and calm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes it does...but that is who she, by letting her grief turn to anger and hate, has chosen to lie down with.

Now her own actions will be getting even more American sons killed. Unless she turns from the course immediately and rebuffs it and disowns it...then it will become obvious that her "mission" has nothing to do with the memory of her son or his sacrifice. Of course, when she is getting the support of people and plkaces like MoveOn.org, Code Pink, Sorros, and their PR agencies already...we knid of already surmmized that.

OBTW, Al Jezeera has picked up her cause too.

I'm afraid I would have likely been compelled to stand up right there during the homily and say a few words - But that's just me. Sometimes action is the only option - not decorum or courtesy or politeness or deference. Just plain, in-your-face action.

Then, I would suggest mentioning some of her supporters that actively seek the killing of our soldiers. It would be nice to detail a link to that Al Jazeera article on her, as well as to the insurgent website Brad's Gramma found. Show how she is supporting the terrorists.

I would also suggest finding a new church, but that's just me.

First, close the checkbook. Not a penny to a parish that will allow such nonsense from the priest in his homily.

Frankly, I suspect you would be wasting your time trying to educate Father Clymer; but maybe other posters will have ideas.
