This is actually a good point - I think Bush made an initial mistake disconnecting the WOT from everday life. This has the effect of giving the Left sufficient wiggle room in which to critisize the war efforts. If there was more of a domestic impact, there would have less tolerance for the lib's behavior.

However, that being said, I think Bush has learned from this mistake. In any event, the next effort in Iran will probably entail a larger push and perhaps even a draft. Then the Left will really be on a short leash.
