Pong for you
I love the Tomcat and Reagan was an excellent President. Maybe someday when Bush 41 passes away, his library will erect a display of the dive bomber he flew in the Pacific.
Too bad I have to miss this. I just love the Reagan Library...I have spent many days there. Hope to get down that way this fall to see the 707.
If you want on or off my aerospace ping list, please contact me by Freep mail not by posting to this thread.
After all, we know what THESE bad boys did in 1981...:)
Does PukinDog know about this...:)
Well, duh. Why don't they just fly it in, and avoid traffic alltogether?
Sometimes I don't think people think...
Pretty cool having an F-14 at your peace park, though..
AWESOME...shoulda had Toms do the missing man formation at Reagan's funeral instead of Hornets!
"Well, what did you all expect? Summer interns cost money!"
I love it. This is going to drive the far left crazy!

Any indication of the BuNo? Wouldn't it be great if the aircraft was one of the Tomcats that actually flew the Achille Lauro intercept mission?
Hehe, a warmongering F-14 in something called the "Peace Plaza" at the Reagan Library...oh, you know THAT is going to make some Cindy Sheehan-loving heads explode! I love it!
They stripped that one down quite a bit. Empty weight on an operational model is 42,000lbs. Max Cat Shot 76,000lbs (that hurts), Max Trap 54,000lbs (unless you were on the U.S.S. America).
