If Bush and the war truly are so unpopular why don't we have these mass demonstrations? I think the answer is: Because people don't like Bush but they don't want him to stop what he's doing, even if they're ashamed to admit that to their liberal friends.
Good point, this isn't a "massive" demonstration. At least not yet. They would have to get Jesse to bring in a few busloads from his coalition. I think that has happened yet because of all the infighting within the left and the power struggle. Just my guess.

Also, unlike Vietnam, none of the people in the military today were drafted and joined voluntarily.
