You're right. Let's keep sending our money to our Muslim "friends" in Saudi

I'm not aware of any Saudi-made automobiles. And searches tell me we get about 17% of our crude from them.

Well most of us DO have alternatives and use them rather than complain.

The title on this thread would indicate otherwise.

What does the title of this thread have to do with anything?

It says that high gas prices are not deterring motorists. It doesn't say that motorists are finding alternatives.

I work from home. I just had my oil changed after 10 months. I had only driven 2700 miles.

I have an SUV, two motorcycles and assorted lawn tools (riding mower, weedwhacker, hedge trimmer, chainsaws) etc. to fuel up.

I average buying about 15 gallons/month.

Good for them. So what does this have to do with anything?

It has to do with what you said in #60, that MOST of us do have alternatives, etc. The point of the article states the opposite, that most aren't seeking alternatives, most of us are just carrying on as normal.

I was trying to be an impossible jerk and yet you have remained patient and rational in your responses to me.
I admire that. You win.
