"I wish the brilliant Ms. Sheehan and her ilk would explain to me how it is that we are fighting this war for oil and a gallon of gas is pushing three bucks."
I have asked this and they will tell you that Bush's oil buddies are getting rich off the $3.00 per gallon price at the expense of the rest of us.

Let's be fair here...
She said that she didn't ever SAY those words.
She didn't, she only typed them.
There, isn't that much better?

FROM THE DEMOCRATS/SOCIALISTS PLAYBOOK |
Starring Cindy Sheehan
Produced by Moveon.org Directed by Michael Moore
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."
-- Joseph Goebbels, German Minister of Propaganda, 1933-1945

I agree. I'm so disappointed in Allen. He's been my 2nd choice all along, but not anymore. Although, in fairness, he didn't say that George should meet with Cindy. He said that if he were Pres that he would.

Really good post SmartA. Goebbels quote should be repeated often as a reminder to all of us, and this is the part that bears repeating;
truth is the mortal enemy of the lie
