>"If I'm not mistaken, the current plague of the meth industry is home-grown."<

NOT true.

DEA report: almost 80 percent of all methamphetamines used in the United States is made in Mexico.

“Methamphetamines production has moved south,” said Ray D’Alessio with the DEA’s Houston Regional Office. “Mexican drug traffickers already have established transportation routes and markets for cocaine and marijuana.”

Doesn't speak very well for a guest worker program.

It's easy to be bigoted; it's a sign of a weak mind.

Do you mean to tell us that you're not bigoted on any issue? Are you bigoted on abortion? Are you bigoted on same-sex marriage? Are you bigoted on affirmative action?

Most Mexicans are peasants who're looking for do what's best for their families. If that means parasitizing a weak, neighboring country for welfare benefits, then they will. Beats living in a cardboard box in the Sonora desert.

Many American lawbreakers are also looking to do what's best for their families. But that doesn't make their lawbreaking any more admirable or acceptable. Most illegal aliens didn't come to the United States because they were jobless, homeless, and starving in their home countries. They came here because they wanted to find a better paying job than they had in their home countries. I have no respect for lawbreakers, whether they're Americans or foreigners.

It will stun you. It's (very) doubtful they all "came here to work"...judging from their signs and chants.

Listen to and watch the pro-illegal immigrant protesters yell things like:
"DEATH TO THE READNECKS"...
"Zarqawi is a GREAT GRINGO KILLER!", "INTIFADA!", "You stole this land!", etc.
This is a wake-up call, folks...

I'll say it, again.

We were doing something right in the '70s.
Let's do it, again.
