Libs know Gorelick is one the verge of being busted big time and they are trying to spin that the wall did not affect DoD. B.S.

I can not believe she was allowed on the 9/11 commission. As someone else said, hey Jamie, it's not the cover-up, it's the crime, and her wall was a big crime!!!

Scruggs, by the way, was no mere bystander in this issue. He pressed for stricter constraints on information sharing in 1994, after the prosecution of Aldrich Ames for espionage. He complained about the supposedly loose interpretations of FISA at the FBI and in the intel communities, and on his own began imposing his own "wall" even without direction to do so from Reno or Gorelick. This action gets Scruggs his only mention in the Commission report (page 78).

Bastard. I wonder if that 2 star General that got in Schaeffer's face is a buddy of Scruggs?

?..... top attorney at Defense just as she did later at Justice. The second, and most obvious, is that as the number-two person at Justice, she still set policy for the FBI. Since sharing and cooperation require two parties to work together, her wall would have made any attempt to engage the FBI pointless....?

and,......how did Robert Hannessien of the FBI feel about this?

It's bad enough that Gorelick erected that wall in 1995. It's ludicrous that four years after 9/11, people waste their time defending her and her participation in the 9/11 Commission as a panel member instead of a witness.

The libs can spin this for all they want

The bottom line is that Gorelick should NEVER have been on that panel

And she sure as heck should NEVER have been in the position to filter what the rest of the Commission was to or not to see

She should have been a witness

.....surely,.....J.Edgar Hoover... AND... James 'Jesus' Angleton would have VOTED AGAINST THIS 'Act'.....?

I remember sending Mr. Kean several emails about removing Ms. Gorelick from the commission and having her testify. I'm sure many others did here as well. We were told to "mind your own business." Now, if it turns out that Ms. Gorelick's staff or Ms. Gorelick herself was involved in covering up information, perhaps Mr. Kean will apologize (I doubt it though). Not only was Able Danger not included in the commission's report, but neither was the Mary-Jo White information or the 1996 warning memo to Clinton about OBL. When did the commissioner's know and when did they know it?

And to top it all off, the nerve of Gorelick and Ben Veniste to be as accusatory as possible to Rice! Remember that? And these are the people that we want to try and build bridges with???

"I can not believe she [Gorelick] was allowed on the 9/11 commission. As someone else said, hey Jamie, it's not the cover-up, it's the crime, and her wall was a big crime!!!"

Firstly, BOTH Parties were involved in the fix. Make NO mistake about it...

Secondly, now there are several cases of a "conspiracy to cover-up" the original 9/11 Commission findings. There is NO way Gorelick didn't have plenty of help from Republicans. WHO are they??

Since people in very HIGH places are complicit, will THEY and the usual suspects (Bubba and Hitlery) be "allowed" to be exposed and prosecuted?

Ha!

That'd be a start...

The list consists of BOTH parties.

Cant have it both ways. As Bill Clinton said when somebody objected to military planes flying overhead during his inauguration:

"Thats OK...their ours now!"

DOD is executive branch, his watch, his responsibility. It was "his" defense department to run and this was his decision on to run it. They implemented his policy, his directives. Not their own.

Remember that?

Yes, I do remember .. and I remember how nasty they were

I also remember how pale Gorelick went, when Ashcroft first mentioned the Wall Memo
