The Democrats seemed determined to turn this into a new VietNam,and to get us to cut and bail. Good Lord, let's pray that they are not sucessful. I can tell you as a Pastor of a church in Florida, I can sense a definite switch in views on this war in my congregation. From support to questioning why we are there. Hopefully the President articulates the reasons over and over as Americans have grown weak in will. You know in Biblical history when the people of Israel got weak, the Lord sent a prophet. We need a prophetic voice to lead us and expose the danger these islamo facists are, and that their end game is to kill us and destroy our culture.
No way!
I thought she was dead. Didn't she choke on her own vomit or something back in the early 70's?
Its the same people from the Vietnam era, just trying to relive their youth. And they democrats wonder why their movement is dying?
..paging Captain Obvious, paging Captain Obvious..
She failed o mention that the new anti-war movement was held around the world with hundreds of thousands of socialists in attendence, and now it is "DOWN" to 500, soon to be 10.
OK, I'm baffled.
Could someone translate?
Must be an acid trip flash back
"Hey, I like folk music. But if you think it is relavant today, you need to rent "A Mighty Wind."
That was one of the funniest movies I have seen in ages. If you liked it, pick up "Best in Show" and "Waiting for Guffman" by the same troup. Subtle, satirical humor.
Baez, must be a French name-
surrender's the theme of Joan's game,
singing lyrics that make us all gag.
God bless America an Goddam this hag!!!
The Al Capp of Lil' Abner fame named her Phony Joanie.
Bob Dylan ran away from her as fast as he could.
OK, I'm baffled. Could someone translate?
Don't do drugs.
THE 60'S ARE OVER!!!! Move on with your useless life why don'tcha.
LOL
was it a HAM sandwich!
No,no,no, It's:
"Gimme that old time religion.
Gimme that old time religion.
Gimme that old time religion,
It's good enough for me!
"It was good for '60s hippies.
It was good for '60s hippies.
It was good for '60s hippies.
It's good enough for me!"
"Now come on boys, where's your spirit? I don't hear no singin'. When you were hippies, you sang like birds. Go on. How 'bout "a good ole moonbat work song?"
Joan played in front of 500 people. It was probably her largest concert since the 60's. Coming from ABC News I would imagine it was more like 300 people and they rounded it to the next 500.
Al Capp , the cartoonist, referred to her as Joanie Balooney.
Geez, I'd be willing to bet money that 99.9% of those anti-war banshees haven't shed a single tear for any of our fallen heroes. Heartstrings lingo is ineffective when it isn't heartfelt.
