I have received dozens of emails with this heading: Go Home and Take Care of Your Kids. I think of all the name calling and unnecessary and untrue trashing of my character, this one offends me the most. What do the people who send me this message mean?

This woman is unbelievable. She complains that " I have received dozens of emails with this heading: Go Home and Take Care of Your Kids" but fails to mention that one of the e-mail is from HER KID (her son)

We as mothers need to stop buying into the load of misogynistic crap that our children need our constant presence in their lives so they can thrive and grow.

Her OWN family has asked for this.

She's as loony as the barking moonbats who insist that Bush did not win either election (2000, or 2004). If they so believe that then let's push for Bush in 2008. He can only be elected twice and by their own count, that has not happened.

Denial ain't a river.

Soccer Safety Mom Susie's kindergartener ... NASCAR Dad Nick's

The thing that offends me most is that this statement is so blatantly sexist. Why can't Mom be NASCAR mom and Dad be soccer safety dad?

I reiterate my comment from about a week ago: By Labor Day, the MoveOn types will be blaming the entire Sheehan episode on Karl Rove.

Well let's see, she opposed her son's enlisting. She still refers to him as a child.

And (although I have not seen substantiation) reputedly refused to talk to him by phone while he served in Iraq.

But let her cry her crocodile tears now.

LOL, of course I guess that doesn't apply to men and women that want to achieve thier full potential in the military.

Just another air head that believes you can have any opinion you want so long as it agrees with them.

Her husband has filed for divorce.

The husband lost HIS son, too. The kids lost their brother. They disagree with her response.

She'll be hurting for years to come because she has not tried to come to terms with his death. She is being exploited by her handlers on the left. They will abandon her but the family will have to hear her outbursts for years at home, at dinner, watching television, reading the paper, etc.

"Move on" indeed.

Both my children moved out over the weekend as their college classes started today. I miss them already. My daughter has called three times this morning, and she's planning on making the one hour drive home this evening - just to visit. I've never been more flattered in my life. Ms. Sheehan doesn't know what she's missin'.

My oldest child is starting her first year of college. Call me crazy, but I've noticed a change in her attitude (for the better) since she graduated from high school.

Cindy needs a better dictionary. I have never heard of "misogyny" used in the context that she uses, i.e. being a constant presence in a child's life.

It is up to us Moms to make sure our children are whole and safe. We can start doing this by always opposing the wars that bury our kids before us. So what I am saying to the people who want me to go home and take care of my kids: I AM taking care of my kids, and yours, too.

Furthermore, I believe the best way to take care of them is to support a woman's right to murder their unborn children.....

"We as mothers need to stop buying into the load of misogynistic crap that our children need our constant presence in their lives so they can thrive and grow."

No one is saying kids need a "constant" presence, but a consistent one would help. But why is it the only alternative to abandoning your kids to a career is sitting on them and watching their every move? Kids at least need the assurance of a parent to protect them and meet their needs in the course of a day as opposed to a babysitter or day care guard. Kids may not need constant overseership esp. as they get older. But neither are they able to be entirely self-governing.

Do you have to attend some kind of day-long liberal certification course to be able to talk like that? I wonder if they make you do pushups if you fail to mention that the victims of America's gluttonous war machine were innocent.

This COULD sound just like her...I'm going to post this again and ask if anyone else has heard of this. I saw it posted on the Huffington Post. Nobody (all those lefties!) challenged it at all! I've yet to verify if it's true, though:

"SHEEHAN BUGS OUT!

Let's see. She abandoned her husband and children when Casey was 7 and just returned 4 years ago (she said she left to "find herself"). Casey refused to have a regular Mother-Son relationship with her at first not having anything to do with her and then finally begrudgingly allowing her presence at a few family gatherings. But he steadfastly refused to call her "mom" telling friends, "At best, she's just "Cindy" to me."

So, she pulls her sick Crawford, Texas stunt pretending that she was a grieving "mom" (was she grieving when she abandoned her small children and allowed them to grow up without a mom?) and hoping for a good book deal or two.

Now her mom has a stroke, a mom who -- by the way -- told the Sacramento Bee that , "while I of course love my daughter politically I don't support her at all, I support my country and my president which is the same thing Casey would say if he was here." And Cindy -- who is really just tired of living in a tent -- runs home pretending to care about family.

Will Code Pink keep her on payroll while she runs off to "find herself" again?"

If it's true, then going home to her family is just not that big a deal to her. Has anyone else heard this?

Hmmm, I wonder to what extent she attempted to inflict her "constant presence" into Casey's life, such that he felt compelled to stay far away? If her constant presence in the media is any indication of her desperate need for attention and control, then she surely must be projecting.

As she is so eager to shove her vapid philosophy down the throat of the average citizen, how much more did she attempt to manipulate poor Casey? The more this moonbat speaks, the sorrier I feel for her son.

Any woman who supports Lynne Stewart is an enemy of society.

Plain and simple.

That New Yorkers support ms. cinderbrain is amazing.

Stewart defended the blind sheik responsible for terror acts in NYC....and then after he was jailed and she signed a commitment not to carry future terror messages for him, she continued to do so.

She's not denied it, been convicted of it,and is awaiting jail.

The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path
The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
The lunatic is in my head
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me 'till I'm sane
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Hey, Cindy.

See what you can do:

Chicken Pot Pies with Puff Pastry

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 bay leaf
1 (8 ounce) can carrots, drained
1 (8 ounce) can white potatoes
2 cups diced cooked chicken
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, cut into four squares
1 egg, beaten with
1 tablespoon water

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 4 small, oven-proof bowls with cooking spray.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in 2 cups chicken broth, and whisk in all of the flour, gradually adding the remaining chicken broth until you have a smooth, slightly thick base. Mix in onion flakes, hot pepper sauce, pepper, thyme, bay leaf, and carrots. Cook about 5 minutes. Stir in potatoes and chicken, and cook for another 5 minutes.
3. In the bottom of each prepared bowl, place a slice of Swiss cheese. Divide the chicken mixture equally into the four bowls, over the cheese. Place a puff pastry square over the top of each bowl, pressing lightly around the rim. Brush the pastry with the egg and water mixture. Place the four bowls on a baking sheet.
4. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until pastry is puffed and golden brown. Let rest at least 5 minutes before serving.

Looks like she is simply angry at her son for not bowing to her. By trashing the war she trashes the decisions he made as an independent adult, and thus can feel good about herself for "proving" [in her own mind] that she was right and Casey was wrong.

Oh, if Casey had only done things her way (and not enlisted) everything would have been just fine. That seems to be what she wants to believe, anyway. It's either that or implode from the realization that she's the one fully responsible for any alienation that occurred in the family relationships. Easier to blame Bush...

She is being exploited by her handlers on the left.

Why do Freepers keep misplacing their sympathy? That's just what the left and Cindy wants.

Hypocrites and liars (Cindy's blog - Chafing under her handlers )

The media are wrong. The people who have come out to Camp Casey to help coordinate the press and events with me are not putting words in my mouth, they are taking words out of my mouth. I have been known for sometime as a person who speaks the truth and speaks it strongly. I have always called a liar a liar and a hypocrite a hypocrite. Now I am urged to use softer language to appeal to a wider audience. Why do my friends at Camp Casey think they are there? Why did such a big movement occur from such a small action on August 6, 2005?

Contrary to what the main stream media thinks, I did not just fall off a pumpkin truck in Crawford, TX on that scorching hot day two weeks ago. I have been writing, speaking, testifying in front of Congressional committees, lobbying Congress, and doing interviews for over a year now. I have been pretty well known in the progressive, peace community and I had many, many supporters before I even left California.
