The Ghost Breakers (1940)
Mary Carter inherits her family's ancestral home, located on a small island off Cuba, and, despite warnings and death threats, decides to take possesion of the reputedly haunted castle. She is joined by radio broadcaster Larry Lawrence who, believing he has killed a mob gunsel, flees New York with his butler, Alex. Once on the island the threesome enter the eerie castle and after viewing the ghost of one of Mary's ancestors and fighting off a menacing zombie, they find the key to the castle's treasure but are interrupted by an all-too-human foe.
Recently I received a warning about the use of the above politically incorrect term. Please note: we all need to be more sensitive in our choice of words.
I have been informed that the Islamic terrorists who hate our guts, our religion, our freedom and our way of life in general - and want to kill all of us for the greater glory of Allah - do not like to be called "Towel Heads" or "Rag Heads". This is because the item they wear on their heads is not a towel but actually a small, folded sheet.
Therefore, from this point forward you should only refer to them as "Little Sheet Heads."

Bless your husband for trying.....We threw eggs at them when they demonstrated on IU's campus.....Don't know if there are many conservatives left in Bloomington now, but back in the '70s we outnumbered the demonstrators.

Many of us have already participated in vigils and tent raisings here in Columbia....
More vigils are scheduled. And the tent idea is catching on. For those who don't have a tent, perhaps you can light a candle and place it in your window, along with a sign in support of Camp Casey and of Cindy Sheehan's efforts to bring peace to the country.

With the MOAB as inspiration (and previous experience BUILDING morale cheering on high school football) everyone across the country could rally quite simply. This would give everyone who can't make it to Crawford an opportunity to actively be a part of the NOT SO SILENT MAJORITY and support the caravan. It would make quite a statement to have these pop up all over the country:
It only takes one double bedsheet and a can of spray paint, four stones and some twine. Pin the sheet to the clothesline- or go ahead and tie it to two trees in the front yard; wrap each stone in a corner, gathering the material around the stone and tie it in, leaving enough twine to wrap around the tree. Spray the message. If you don't think you can freehand it well, do it in pencil or chalk first.

Any one that wants to take one of these to a rally could mount this easily on two lengths of thin PVC, which is relatively inexpensive, by sewing (by hand or machine) a hem along each side, and sewing the upper end shut. PVC can be cut to fit in a trunk, and rejoined (with whatever that piece is called that joins PVC together : )

yellow ribbons will forever be associated with Jimmuh Cartuh and his ineffectual response to the Iran hostage situation.
Yellow ribbons are perfect for a time when the U.S. is weak and powerless, and is clearly seen as such by the rest of the world.
It was Carter's failure to respond that gave birth and encouragement to the arabs who previously hid under rocks, but who learned from Carter they could challenge us with impunity.
