Here's EXACTLY what National Geographic said about The Chart, Atta, Special Operations and the FBI, as Transcribed from the special "Inside 9/11". Originally aired 8/21/05, re-aired 8/22/05.
And here it is for those who DON'T like to be shouted at, first thing in the morning:
"At this air force base in Tampa (picture of entrance gate to Macdill Air Force Base), members of the U.S. Army special operations command are reviewing an unusual chart that reportedly identifies both Atta (picture id of Atta shown) and Al-Shehhi (picture id of Al-Shehhi shown) as likely members of an Al-Qaeda terror cell operating within the united states. the officials decide they cannot pass this information along to the FBI, in part because the men are holding valid U.S. visas and may be off limits from intelligence gathering by the military."

Got link?
I understand today, the Pentagon says they have not uncovered proof of Abel Dangers claims.
Maybe they should watch t.v. and see un-classified reports.
The classified reports must be a whopper.
I watched the National Georgraphic special Sunday and Monday nights. The poster has transcribed this section of the show correctly and, to my knowledge, it would be darned near impossible for him to post a link to a television show.
As we were on the live thread and watching this show, lots of freepers understood what was being discussed and typed, simultaneously, "Able Danger".
Setting aside the shoddy reporting and twisting the facts, that sentence in itself makes no sense.
Shout all you want. This is an excellent post!!!! The dems must be reaching for their Depends at this point.
Is the report typed with proportional spacing? Does it look like it was done in Word?
Yeah, we've been hearing that same thing for 2 weeks. And...?
.
What 'INSIDE 9/11' didn't report:
The CLINTON White House's refusing 3 Free Offers from the Sudan during the 1990's to give us OSAMA bin LADEN on a Silver Platter before he could hit us hard here at home =

Keep this bumbed to the top.....ALL DAY
Dan, I get your point...BUT, the caps were intended to distinguish the actual transcript from my own editorial comments. Since there's been so much discussion about what National Geographic actually said, it was important to me to be ACCURATE. If your sensibilities are offended, don't take it personal. Have a great day.
"Setting aside the shoddy reporting and twisting the facts, that sentence in itself makes no sense."
Huh?
Having twice watched that part of the program, I find the quoted sentence both to be well-constructed and to make perfect sense when considered in context. The National Geographic special was excellent, in my opinion.
I certainly don't take it personally. I think it's just a law of human nature, as I've observed -- folks don't want to read all caps. It's considered shouting.
Your fundamental idea was a good one. In the future, to make sure you're better-heard, I'd suggest using bold for one, plain for the other; or italics; or you could even use red font.
One man's opinion, your milage may vary.

The record quotes Rep Weldon on the floor of the House saying "here is the unclassified chart" as he spoke. The 9/11 Omission should ask (respectfully!) for that chart at least. Perhaps Weldon has even more.
Notice the dems' thundering silence. Not a peep. The only one talking is Clinton, covering his behind.
BUMP!!!!
Clintons = Hear no Atta, See no Atta, Speak no Atta!!!!
