PING-a-LING for Ding-a-ling Cindy Al-Sheehani
Great qoutes to punk out any al-sheenai supporter.
Cindy Sheehan is full of __it!
Dear Cindy,
Please list 3 countries that meet with your approval, we at FR , will pass the hat around, and come up with the moving expenses, and a one way ticket to the new country of your choosing.
Yours
Thinking and others
That's more like it
Welcome to FR. Great first post.
I wish more people knew this. I used to be a committed Dem, and now I am a committed GOP. I've been to meetings on both sides. The Dems complain about how shrill politics has become, and then they start attacking the GOP (and even each other).
The GOP start their meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance, an Invocation, and then have people talk about what positive message they can spread. Everyone gets a polite hearing.
I can't imagine that Dems everywhere are as shrill as the ones here, but the party leaders make it look possible. There's no way that I would ever go back to such belligerent ways of dealing with politics as long as there's a choice.
a Democrat columnist named Scott Randolph made a lot of sense in a recent article named "Cindy Sealed the Deal" (see LINK below). He starts by describing how Cindy Sheehan's ridiculous antics almost caused him to become a Republican.
Listen to what he said about soldiers and their sacrifice:
"Soldiers know, when they enlist, that it is entirely possible they will be shipped out and never come home. It's part of the job. The fact that people still walk in to recruiters' offices and sign that piece of paper make them heroes.
To imply that they are simple kids who didn't know what they were getting into, or even worse, that they died for no reason, or an immoral reason, does a horrible thing. It strips their sacrifice of the honor that it deserves."
Hear, hear!
That chap may become conservative yet!
To where?
I didn't see an e mail address on the link.
Too bad. I would have liked to thank the man.
Well she could of had to say it in German or Japanese.
Semper Fi!
Cindy Sheehan long ago crossed the line from honest dissent to treason.
Oh, Duh! I see it now. Thanks.
I'll write him right away.
What a good man.
:-)
Cindy, don't go away mad. Just GO AWAY NOW!!!
(To where?)
Wouldn't she llok great in a headscarf, I mean rag.
Does anybody have a link (preferably a news service link) to a transcript or video or whatever of this rally? I'm googling, too, but haven't turned up anything other than right and left blogs quoting from each other.
I ask because this quotation is in dispute. Some claim Sheehan said that Iraq was not worth fighting for. Unfortunately, Barrett doesn't provide a link for this quote. Thanks.
Im going all over the country telling moms: This country is not worth dying for. If were attacked, we would all go out. Wed all take whatever we had. Id take my rolling pin and Id beat the attackers over the head with it. But we were not attacked by Iraq.
