NAMPA, Idaho -- President Bush today took direct aim at Cindy Sheehan, the anti-war protester who has set up camp near the Bushes Texas ranch and purports to speak for military moms who, like her, have lost a son in the Iraq war.
Speaking to hundreds of Idaho National Guardsmen, the president singled out military mom Tammy Pruett of Pocatello, Idaho, whose husband and five sons have all served in Iraq.
"Tammy has four sons serving in Iraq right now with the Idaho National Guard: Eric, Evan, Greg and Jeff. Last year her husband, Leon, and another son, Aaron, returned from Iraq, where they helped train Iraqi firefighters in Mosul.
"Tammy says this -- and I want you to hear this -- 'I know that if something happens to one of the boys, they would leave this world doing what they believe, what they think is right for our country.'
"And I guess you couldn't ask for a better way of life than giving it for something that you believe in. America lives in freedom because of families like the Pruetts."
The crowd, made up mostly of military family members, broke into cheers and chants of "U-S-A! U-S-A!"

Cindy Sheehan will arrive at the Waco Airport at 4:30 p.m. today. It is anticipated that she will make stops at both camps after her return to Crawford. All public activities will cease at 6:30. She will be grant no interviews today.
A mock helicopter pad is being erected at Camp Casey II to make the point that it should be very easy for Bush to come here and meet Sheehan.
She is going back to Crawford now. I heard this on the radio earlier. She is leaving her sick mother in California...and returning to the Bus grounds to protest.
Good Lord no -- a pro-America, pro-military, honorable, decent, red-state family is the LAST thing the MSM wants the world to know exists. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if the gaggle of newscasters cuts that out of the video, if they cover Bush's speech at all.

Cindy gets so much attention - yet those counter protesting have received relatively little coverage (saw an interview on FoxNews this AM).
I have grown weary of the apparent lack of will in our efforts to really take care of business in Iraq - BUT - Cindy has really disgraced the memory of her brave sone who VOLUNTEERED for the Army - and served honorably.
If Cindy's son had been drafted against his will and forced to fight, then she could at least stand on the fact that her son didn't want to fight. But that's not the story here (contrary to what the MSM would have us believe).

Thank you Pruetts for your sons. One son and husband back and four others serving. God bless this woman. What a mother she is. I'm so glad President Bush recognized them. Wow, 4 sons serving in Iraq and one other with his dad when they served? I am so proud of this family. God bless them and bring their beloved sons home to them. God bless all our troops and our President.
May or may not be but there is nothing wrong in recognizing a mother who has 4 sons serving and one that was there with his dad. This woman truly supports our country. How proud she must be of her sons and how proud they must be of their mom. Wow.

Did you see the other night when he had on a recently returned soldier, who was debating that Paul (I forget his last name, but he has a shaved head, and his been on his show and others for about a year, badmouthing Bush's war)..
Anyway, the "good guy" vet was really beating up on the bald one...and Chrissy kept trying to help ole baldy out..but it was hopeless.
You do know, that the DNC's "war plans" for 2006, and 2008 is to get as many lib veterans of Iraq to run for office as they can...thinking that Republician just couldn't beat a vet..
