There's no "if" about it. You should be very angry.
It is just now getting press. It has been continuing for some time now.
The DC Freepers have been counter protesting them across the street from Walter Reed for a few months I believe. Search FR and find posts on it . The have a MOAB.(Mother of all Banners?Ibelieve).
Kristinn and the other FReepers have been showing them up all along. Hope that gets MSM attention too! Do ya think?
God Bless Free Republic for standing up for our Military!
It's Code Pink.
Freepers were on this earlier.
My God, how sick are these people?
This happened during the Vietnam war, too.
Once during a protest march, the marchers went right past Walter Reed.
Some of the marchers (with Viet Cong flags) got into fights with the recovering soldiers.
The DC police (for which I will never forgive them) waded
in to break up the fights, and clubbed--not the demonstrators, who had the "right" to march--but the wounded soldiers. . .
These jerks were doing this long before Cindy appeared in the ditch.
Video means no leg work (low expenses).
They'll run with it if the video is strong.
Let's hear what you have to say.
REMEMBER, these are "PEACEFUL PROTESTORS"...

Antiwar protesters trash 9/11 memorial
American flags burned and slashed
By Debbie Pfeiffer Trunnell, Staff Writer
LA HABRA -- Antiwar protesters burned and ripped up flags, flowers and patriotic signs at a Sept. 11 memorial that residents erected on a fence along Whittier Boulevard days after the terrorist attacks in 2001 and have maintained ever since.
"They trashed 87 flags, ripped 11 memorial tiles made by myself and my children out of the ground and glued the Bob Dylan song to a sign that said, 'America, land of the brave, home of the free,' ' she said.
The Bob Dylan song she referred to is "With God on Our Side,' an antiwar anthem of the 1960s.
"It's unbelievable, because there were absolutely no political messages on this fence. It was all about supporting our troops, which could mean bringing them home, and about remembering 9-11.'
So in a sense, this IS like Vietnam.
Know this: There are more of us Americans who honor you and all our troops than there are of these lowest of the low lifes. Their behavior grows more despicable by the hour and are surely headed to hell for their inhumanity.
Code Pink is a sick group.
ping a ling
I'd be glad to be proven wrong but I doubt they'll touch it.
48% of the voting public voted RAT in 2004.
Sick, and plenty of them.
Anyone who can should come to the FReep counter-demonstrations on Friday evenings. Thanks, aft_lizard, for reposting the link. Here's all the info:
