Just heard Free Republic mentioned on Fox News for alerting a CNS reporter about the shameful protesters at Walter Reed.

I saw it!

My DH & I are going to be in DC at the end of October for the Marine Corps marathon. If there is still a need to stand guard we would love to join the DC Freepers at Walter Reed.

Lord willing though, you all will have done the job so well Code Pinko won't be showing up anymore.

Thanks to all you Freepers who walk your talk!

And Mark Levin last night thanked the Free Republic for letting him know about the despicable Code Pink protesting in front of Walter Reed! The Free Republic, the leader of the new Media.

I'd be there if I could, but I'm up in Illinois right now for a long-awaited visit with family and old friends. But I'm with our FR warriors in heart and spirit.

Mark Levin came to many early FR events, especially during the Clinton events running up to impeachment.

He was very easy to talk to and pleasant.

[[He mentioned how the activists are upsetting the patients. He said when the recovering and maimed patients are taken out for dinner on Fridays, they give the one-finger salute to the demonstrators from the bus windows. Hah!}

I love it. The MSM (old) media continues to cover up who these protestors really are. Most of them have communist, socialist and marxist affiliations but the old media will never refer to them are extreme leftwing demonstrators but they love to always refer to conservatives as extreme rightwingers. The old media is going nuts because they are no longer the gatekeeps of the news. The bloggers, talk radio, and Fox News is driving them nuts. Their days are over and I love it.

It is interesting to see the media treat this story as if it materialied just yesterday, even though the DC Chapter has been fighting the good fight for 18 weeks and counting. I wonder if the Pinkos will ramp up their presence tonight or lay low hoping the media's short attention span shifts the focus elsewhere? I hope FR gets a good turn out.

The frontline of battle is Crawford and Walter Reed.

Saw this mornings F&F. CNS reporter giving credit where due.

Disappointed in Hannity both yesterday p.m. and last night, and maybe the CNS reporter, too. I know Hannity didn't mention FR as being the counter protesters. Not sure about the CNS guy. IIRC, FR was mentioned in the initial Drudge story which has since disappeared from his page. Important, though, to remember the story itself is now front and center and enough folks know what Code Pink is up to despite their denials.

I am wondering the same thing - does Code Pink cut and run or go all out tonight at Walter Reed? My husband and I are going tonight and bringing our kids and I don't know what to expect after the increase in media attention.

The goal is to always outnumber the Pinkos so we will be there!

Thank you!!! Am way too far away to make a trip to D.C.--but this military mom will be praying for you and the other supporters of our troops. Your presence in the face of our "enemy within" is so vital. God bless you both!

Thanks - however I need to thank you and all the families of our brave military! We support and pray for you and the troops every night!

My kids are very excited to go - they have picked out their flag shirts and are making their posters today. My daughter wants hers to say "KIDS 4 TROOPS."

Well God Bless you for heading out and showing your support along with the other intrepid members of the DC Chapter! I wish I could afford to join you there but the airfare is prohibitive and Amtrak costs even more! Little NVA has accompanied me on more than one FReeping. Please report back with your experience once the after action report goes up.
