The point is ?
I think ? some of us here are just trying to show you the issue in another perspective.
I can understand were you may think that it " LOOKS BAD " on that persons part and the radio station's part to send in that spy into their " Cindy's Camp " camp under cover to find out what their TRUE motives, and agendas are, and to get the truth out.
It's just, if they ( the radio station, and that person wants to find out the truth ) then, we don't have a problem with it.

We do understand how this might look for our side, and we DO understand your points.
But, from what we seen 2 months ago in Congress, after we seen the Liberals ( once again ) railroaded us, the Republicans need to stop letting them get over on us and push us around ( even when we are in the majority ) and it's time to stand up against the Liberals on level ground.

Okay, fine. But why were people accusing me of "needing a backbone?" Of "Not willing to stand up to liberals?" Or even saying that I "didn't want to send spies to Al-Quaeda, or Nazi Germany, because that would be unfair?" What's that all about? And what's the deal with being a "new guy?" Just because I've only been here since early May means I don't know anything?

I watched the exchanges...

You seem to want to use wiffle-ball tactics in a baseball game. You got bent over something not worth getting bent over. The tactics of one side an informant to provide information about competitors is standard operating procedure - if you don't do it, and do it well - you will never win, ever.

When I first came here, many used to get on me about my spelling, yes, I didn't like it, but, I didn't give up.
You just got to get back up on your horse after a fall, and be strong.
I myself have had a few arguments here, and lost arguments and have been misunderstood.

That's baseball for me in real life, too, not just in analogy. I'm just not competitive enough for these games.

The weapon of the Conservative should be intelligence, logic, and reasoning. We must defeat liberals, not by "spying" and "gathering intelligence," but by defeating them on the debate field. As they lose the argument, they turn into Howard Dean: they become shrill, angry, and desperate. It makes them look bad. It hurts their resolve, because they realize they could be wrong.

The weapons of the liberal are obfustication, deceit, and preying on the emotions of those easily convinced by such tactics. There will be no rational debate: they have proven this time and again. When they become shrill, instead of revolting those in their 'base', they use it as a war cry, recall that they prey on emotion. As long as they can maintain the pep-rally atmosphere, they can and do prevail with a multitude. That is their public face which permits the recruitment of countless usefull idiots.

Behind that is the cold, calculating crowd of string pullers who benefit from all the fanfare. They will never disillusion the usefull idiots and well meaning but deceived people who support them by being straightforward with their aims or intentions.

Whatever their motivation or intent, I see no harm in finding out more. Spying is the time honored method in such circumstances.

if you are sincere, do not use a metaphor or a cliche, and describe exactly what he is doing as far as you understand it .. and then why do you think there is anything questionable about it.
