Being a Conservative I am bound to have issues with Blair and his government I am just thankful that my local MP is Conservative.

La Jolla! I love that place!
(If you look carefully, you can see a handsome man and lovely young lady waving. :)
Good for you for making your voice heard about the anti-America forces at work out there. And cool that you made the paper!

We figured she'd be fine. Good Christian colleges work hard to meet ALL your needs coming in, and this one is clearly a winner. We were MEGA impressed with the school, in all respects.
Plus, baby girl is very outgoing, so she'll work to make friends.
She's just SO far away! I cry off and on, but I know from experience that I'll get better. And ANYTHING is better for the emotions than having a child in Baghdad.
Anyway, gotta hit the hay now. Yesterday was our Anniversary and my birthday, so I'm a little short on sleep. :)
Good night, all!

Been watching people standing in line at the Superdome they estimate 20,000 amazing also seen footage of the cars leaving.
It still sounds bad in particular the devastation that flood waters will wreck God bless and keep these people and help them in the days and weeks to come as they salvage what they can from the carnage.

*S* I'm sure you didn't really kill the thread. I've heard several Freepers say the same thing. And I thought it shortly after Cindy appeared on the horizon.

I have this photo hanging on my Den wall, framed. We got it from the RNC, some time ago. For sure it was taken at the Ranch; it is outdoors and see what he holds in his hand. A very natural look, yet he is not exactly "dressed down" is he?

Stephen Mansfield has a new book out. I think its called something like "The Faith of the American Soldier" I just caught the tail end of CNN's book TV and Mansfield was talking about the book and his interviews with the troops. He said that with most that he talked to, the war made their faith stronger and that many looked at fighting for freedom as almost a holy crusader type feeling. Hopefully my leftist leaning library will get this book in soon.

Just to let you all know the coverage here in Oz about the rally in Crawford has been PATHETIC - so anti-Bush. Unreal! Back to throwing cushions at my TV! hehehe
#####
You probably saw as much as we did in the USA! The virtual media blackout really surprised me. Guess my natural cynicism regarding the media wasn't quite comprehensive enough, and I was really saddened by the lack of coverage.
