"I have to say that I am also one of those who would rather "bite off my tongue" than vote for any democrat. I voted for Hagel in the past, but it's going to be a tough decision the next go around."

My wife worked against Hagel (for Stenberg) in the first Senate primary...Hagel vs Don Stenberg. Of course, we voted for Stenberg, too. Not as glamorous or "exciting" in front of a camera, but Don Stenberg is a far better man...as Hagel has proved in recent years.

I find myself with more hatred for Hagel than I had for Kerry.

"Tough decision??? Hagel needs to be defeated in the primaries."

One of the things that really bothers me about this Hagel situation is the lack of Nebraskan conservatives who are willing to take Hagel to task in the public arena. I love Ronald Reagan, but the old Reagan "11th Commandment" needs to be cast aside when it comes to Hagel.

Someone needs to come out of the bushes and start eroding Hagel's base before Hagel's next primary...which may, obviously, be the Presidential primary.
