Sept 19th is my 40th wedding anniversary---how better for us to spend it than demonstrating against Cindy and everything she stands for.
thanks for the ping.
I have this feeling Cindy is losing steam not only with the once friendly media (recent NPR interview with Neil Conan as an example) but with those who would normally support her. My sister-in-law lives in LA, she is a Barbara Boxer liberal, but she recently told me Cindy and her crowd are sending the wrong message at the wrong time. Her position is very simple, she opposed America going to war in Iraq, but now that we're there we need to support the troops and finish the job. I have to respect her for that.
Maybe she and Hanoi Jane can share a bus...think of the vegetable oil that would save!
Please see this thread for information and a schedule of the leftists tour of America. Join an organized group to freep them, or start you own protest-if you aren't able to get others to join you- go alone-just go. I think we need to have someone at each stop! Let's do this thing! Thank you.
Woo hoo! We're putting something together in GA. They may actually be here on 9-11. Ironic?
Does this woman work or what? Care about her ill mother?
Waiting for details on location, time for Detroit, thanks
Thanks for the ping!
Ping. Did you see this? Let's roll!
Bahbah is heading up the "Gateway" contingent. FReepmail her.
Thanks, Prov. I still can't get time or location details. I will read down the thread and see if anything pops up.
Star, I have taken the liberty of putting you on our "Gateway Chapter" ping list and I am watching for times and places.
Isn't it time we start welcoming these people into our communities with the same style, love and acceptance they welcomed our Vietnam heros home with? What goes around, comes around.
Perfect Bahbah - thanks!! ALSO - If I had to hazard a guess I would say they'll most likely show up at the County Fair and Airshow. What do you think?
I am emailing 97.1FM to see if they know anything.
Great idea. Please let me know what you find out.
bump for later. Love the graphic. Cindy's stupid commercial makes me sick. She's a pathetic speaker.
Here is what I know so far.
The annual St. Louis County Fair & Air Show will be held Spetember 2-5 on the fairgrounds of the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Missouri. Dates and times for Saturday and Sunday, the 3rd & 4th, are 10AM to 10PM. Admission is $8.00 per adult, $4.00 per child and Seniors. All Military free. I am assuming that, if this is the chosen venue, they won't actually be entering the fairgrounds, so the admission fee info is just thrown in. I tried to cut and paste the info but the site wouldn't let me. If this is where they will be, just type St. Louis County Fair and Air Show into your search engine for info and maps. NOTE: WE DO NOT YET KNOW IF THIS IS THEIR VENUE but Star has made a very good guess. It is right off I-40.
