Four Out Of Five Leftist Moonbat Columnists Agree: New Orleans Has No Government
Friday, September 2, 2005 | aas

I was reviewing the various foaming rants of my favorite Leftist Moonbats today, and I noticed something striking. The disaster in New Orleans is the fault of the federal government (read: George W. Bush, the guy the Left loves to hate). There are apparently NO local or state government entities in the vicinity of the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, and never have been. At least, this is what a close reading of the foaming Bush-hating rants of the Leftist nutbags indicate to the observant reader.

Michael "MoonBatMcSwine" Moore: Vacation is Over... an open letter from Michael Moore to George W. Bush (Friday, September 2nd, 2005)
Molly "Miss Piggy MoonBat" Ivins: Why New Orleans is in deep water (Thursday, September 1, 2005)
Arianna "Brocky MoonBat" Huffington: Are People Dying Over Here Because We're Fighting Them Over There? (Thursday, September 1, 2005)
Eleanor "I Hate Republicans MoonBat" Clift: A Colossal Failure of Leadership (Friday, September 2nd, 2005)

The only Leftist MoonBat who even acknowledged that New Orleans has its own actual goverment was Paul "Economics For Duemmies MoonBat" Krugman in A Can't-Do Government. Of course, this was only to wave off the guilty governmental parties, bury the fact that the culprit governments are Democrat, and get to the REAL point of the exercise, which is to blame the hated George Bush:
"There will and should be many questions about the response of state and local governments; in particular, couldn't they have done more to help the poor and sick escape? But the evidence points, above all, to a stunning lack of both preparation and urgency in the federal government's response."

My question to all thinking conservatives out there is this:

If there is no government in New Orleans, just WHO are the thugs that have been taking annual protection money from the taxpayers of New Orleans for lo these many years? Up till now, they appeared to be well-organized - they had their own enforcement, collectors and kangaroo courts, but now that the targets of their protection racket REALLY need help, they appear to have fled the scene.

Interesting. ;-)

If I was a Louisiana taxpayer, I'd be asking some really pointed questions of my "elected officials" when they came hanging around for this year's protection money...

They never had a "real" government to start with. They had an elaborate heirarchy of extortionists, and organized criminals. But nw that their base of operation is a big muddy-puddle, they're just regular ole criminals....just like the rest of the gang bangers looting and shooting people.

I don' think you need to be a leftist moonbat to recognize there is no government in Nawlins. If there is anyone to blame on this, it is the city "leaders" that didn't properly plan.

My point is this: if there's no government in New Orleans, then why pay taxes to a state or local "government" entity?

Mayor of New Orleans must be the easiest job in the world, because as far as I can tell from these rocket scientists, you have no reponsibilities whatoseover.

chirocracy = government by physical force
kleptocracy = government by criminal theft

And, Lousiana as a whole might be best described as an adhocracy.

adhocracy = government by pulling it out your @$$ as you stumble along

;^)

Suppose the Federal government had come in full force - do you suppose these same people might be complaining about the "heavy handed Bush administration?"

Yes, I did have to look that one up, and yes, you're right. ;-)

Always good to review the various "...ocracies".

That IS the question, and don't forget that the good citizens of Nawlins also pay federal taxes (as do you and I) and we all can legitimately ask what good THOSE monies are. The whole system is designed to remove accountability, and push it up the line. That's why people are looking for the Great Government Nanny to bail them out.

Of course they would! Remember, Bush is ALWAYS wrong, evil and stoopid. :-)

On a like note, a friend of mine observed the other day that the looters who were wading through waist-deep water to steal big-screen TeeVees would be complaining about working conditions if they were getting PAID to do what they were doing...

It's curious how these people blame Bush, even though they can't quite agree whether it was because he's bumbling and incompetent, or because he's a megalomaniacal genius, all look to him and expect him to be the only one capable of fixing it overnight.
