True, and I was thinking better, relatively speaking.
Maybe he will do the honorable thing and fall on his sword.
Great googly moogly. Nagin is five cans short of a six-pack.
I don't understand the reference re Pineville. Elaborate?
I can honestly say that is the first headline that made me laugh outloud all week.
Liberalism at its best. Blame the government for everything yet expect them to do everything for you.
This guy is in charge?
Doesn't Congress control Federal Spending?
Did someone fax some talking points to all of the black members of Congress? Seems like Ms. Mostly Fraud is echoing the Congressional Black Caucus (or the Klan with a Tan, as Dr. Walter Williams calls them)and the Rev. Al Charlatan.
A certified nut case.
Looks like Mayor Nagin is having a "Paul Begala moment."
He mayor, don't worry about the CIA, they'd never find you.
No, he's not, and that's the problem, because he's supposed to be.
Insane institution in Louisiana...where most of our politicans end up...lol BTW, has anyone heard from Edwards? Surely he needs to be heard from to give courage to his fellow democrat politicians...
Addendum to my post at 186, quoting same source:
"We will see lawlessness increase again in 2005. Law enforcement institutions and policy makers will become overwhelmed at the intensity of crime. The church must pray for a revival of moral righteousness."
Personally, I think this whole mess is Cindy Sheehan's fault. If she hadn't been absorbing the MSM, maybe Katrina would have gotten some pre-hit attention.
Where were all the smart, prognosticating Hollywood people? Where was Carrville, Hillary, Chuckie Schumer, Jesse, Sharpton, Sean Penn, Barbara Streisand? They should have KNOWN this was going to happen. They're all geniuses aren't they?
The MSM Echo Chamber is littered with over-heated fax machines! Of course these creatures of the left receive their talking points, they always reinforce their lies by repeating them over and over. But for false allegations of racism against George Bush and Republicans, they need no script.
Nagin's head will roll, and he KNOWS it, and knows it even more every day. as new proofs of his negligence and malfeasance are made available:the bus picture coupled with his radio interview expressing outrage at using city vehicles, when Greyhound should have provided buses (!), his ferrying of tourists at the Hyatt with special vehicles (buses I believe) over to the Superdome, in order to get to THE HEAD OF THE LINE and get on buses out of town, AHEAD of Orleanians who'd been waiting for DAYS to be bussed out, his cursing out of Fema and the Federal Government for not getting in so lightning-quick that his own incompetence would not be noticed. Boy, there is plenty of blame to go around, and the nature of it and where the fingers are pointing in inextricable with whether the person has a (D) or a (R) after his or her name. The criticism coming from official and unofficial Dem spinmeisters/spokescreeps suggests that big Government loving Dems would have been SOOOOOOO much better at centralized Federal response----when they would have likely been worse. I just hope at least SOME of the appropriate heads roll.
