Great work!! We've got to keep the pressure on and get the facts out, because the left is mobilizing the use the "hurricane relief" effort as a stepping stone to a vicious new DNC/Moveon campaign:

Pass this around to all media outlets. The Feds did everything by the book. Nagin may have been incompetent, but Blanco's neglegence is criminal.

Can someone put together a timeline of the corruption within the state over the past few years? Be sure to include Blanco's pathetic excuse for misappropriating $30 mil from FEMA, and include all the NO cops, too. We can't let THEM rebuild NO!!! And now the cops are going to Vegas??? I assume it's to relocate their 'operations' since Aspen would be a much better place to get some rest.

The only thing I would add is that here was delay in volunteer resuce, there was delay in resumption of bus evac from the Dome, the was delay in hospital resuce, and there was murder and mayhem caused by loss of civil control.

The civil unrest is a BIG part of the story, and the media, the DEMs, the governor, the mayor, and the MSM want to bury the fact that there was a tremendous amount of PREDICTABLE and PREDICTED civil unrest.

I teach my children to focus on what's right, not who's right." Regarding your September 4th post, it appears that the TABLE --which is supposed to give information on the TIMES at which ACTION TO EVACUATE people must be taken if the total number of people in the risk area is to be evacuated in Category 3 (Slow), 4 and 5 hurricanes-- IS MISSING from the document you referenced (Southeast Louisiana Hurricane Evacuation and Sheltering Plan, Annex D).

Hmmm. I would imagine that these evacuation time estimates could have been quite helpful to key decision makers. Moreover, it could be useful to concerned citizens such as yourself. Wouldn't you agree that analyzing this table is ESSENTIAL to make a non-biased comparision and assessment of what was supposed to happen and when verus what did happen and when?

You sign up today for that. Please....

As for your children, who cares.

And yes this is about who did what and what their jobs were.

I'm glad to see you want to come here and be an apologist for these moronic democratic lib pathetic criminally negligent socialist governor and mayor, though. I'm sure they appreciate your support.

You do realize that all the hospitals and nursing homes were required to be evacuated.

You do realize that the governor and mayor sat on their backsides all day Saturday instead of ordering a mandatory evacuation.

What good is a time table when they ignore the entire plan they had in advance. Your focusing on a time table. Get real....

As far as biased... Give me a break. I suppose a troll like you blames the President huh?

You want to teach your kids something, go teach them that the Governor and Mayor are responsible for killing a whole bunch of people because they were TOO STUPID AND INCOMPETENT AND CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT.

Their plan is pretty clear about what they did not do. Period. They knew this was a major storm on Friday, and they sat on their butts and did just about nothing.

Blanco and Nagin should be arrested for what they failed to do.

We don't need some table to tell us they failed to order an evacuation in time. They waited until Sunday Morning, and until after President Bush called to urge the mandatory Evacuation.

Go back to DU.....
