I am sure there is some enviromental group , somewhere in court at this moment, trying to stop it.

Or the ACLU defending the rights of polluted water to remain in NOLA.

Gibson was pretty much an a-hole on the Saturday radio show. I guess he was trying to be "fair and balanced."

The headline should read,"New Orleans is pumping raw sewage and toxic sludge into where ever".

Well for now they have no choice but to pump it into the Lake but in the future there will be a BIG PRICE to pay for that!

Ooo. I can't wait to see what lies below the surface.

New Orleans waters are notorious for harboring various noxious and debased forms of aquatic life:

Maybe, maybe not.

Nature is far more resilient than us feeble humans think.

They are pumping it back into the River WHAT AN ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD!

Yuck. I wonder if there is any way to treat it, especially with the rescuers working so close to it. Brrrr....

Will Gulf shrimp be tainted by coming in contact with that "toxic soup"?

Pumps working in less than a week. That's good news.

Yes but it takes many many years before Nature can work its magic. But we need to do that now. That lake will be unfishable (if it ever was) for years but they can work on that later on. Now its important to get that disgusting water out!

I guess we don't want any Louisiana oysters any time soon. Maybe no seafood from around there.

"The extremist leftist environmental groups are quiet, wonder why???"

I am giving it a day. Now that the pumping has started, they have a legal argument to take to court.

I have already been seeing more articles pop-up on the net about this issue.
