Rush is starting to mention Free Republic a lot more frequently lately. That's because there is a LOT of good stuff here.
Nobody delivers it like Rush though. I'd like to hear him read Pukin Dogs column on air. THAT would make folks sit up and listen!

I work from home, and don't have to share my office with liberals, so I listen to Rush nearly every day.
It's uncanny the number of times I'll have him on, and be reading FR, and he's reading articles that Freepers have posted here.
Some days I read here early in the day, then when he comes on at 11am (CST) I count the number of articles he referrs to that were already on FR hours ago.
Media Prep? Yep. FR is definately Media Prep...sometimes for Rush as well!
Thanks again, Jim Robinson! :)

And, best of all, he knows enough to call us "FReepers", unlike another well known radio talker, who thought we were called "Freeps".

The stuff about the levees and the NYT is VERY interesting. I hadn't known the Times was against the funding for the levees. LOLOL

That's why this is so great. FReepers put it out there and Rush tells 20 million people about it.

Britt Hume mentioned yesterday how the HYT previously wrote about this project, too. LOL! Guess they are flip-flops!

He's no dummy; he knows where the good stuff is and he didn't get to be highly successful and influential by ignoring good material. Plus it builds a synergy: people find out about Free Republic, check it out, contribute info and the whole process gets stronger. I've also noticed that, over the years, Rush is very good about giving credit where credit is due (how many Libs can you say that about?)

That is the way I got hooked on FR back in 1997. I would read an article on FR and then hear Rush read the same article. He didn't ever mention FR but he was using the same material that was posted here.

He also knows that if something has gotten a lot of interest on FR (100+ posts in a very short period of time), that it will appeal to the conservative base.

I bet Rush has 2-3 staff members that monitor FR 24\7. Although I haven't been quoted exactly yet, it's only a matter of time. ;-)
