I always carry a large butcher knife on a test drive. The guy was probably going to steal the car.

Melchor Macaso, 35, was booked late Tuesday at the Inmate Reception Center in downtown Los Angeles on a felony murder count, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Web site. He was being held on $1 million bail.Let's tattoo "I hate Muslims" on his forehead and parachute him into Najaf. Save us all some tax dollars.

He is ultimately headed to the damnation reception center.

Step one: Murder.
Step two:
Step three: Profit!
It's always that pesky step two that's tough to figure out.

Why wouldn't they let him test drive the car? Did they think he was untrustworthy?

About once a month or so I get bored and go out "test driving". The 'vettes are nice but I prefer to "test drive" the Porsche Boxster. The only time I've been turned down is when they wouldn't let me test drive a new Viper.
Am I the only one who does this?

...held on $1 million bail. Why do they offer bail to these guys, no matter how much it is? It seems pretty clear that he murdered someone..... so...... let's see.... I've got a semi-appropriate Mr. Boffo here somewhere.....

Especially since the best option for step two... hire Johnny Cochran is no longer an option.

After test driving a Porche, how do you tell the salesman that you don't want it? With a straight face. Without busting a gut laughing. How?
