Inside the Beltway (Vile behavior of DUmmy "DemGurl")
The Washington Times ^ | 9/8/2005 | John McCaslin

Posted on 09/07/2005 10:53:57 PM PDT by CardCarryingMember.VastRightWC

A new low
Americans are obviously split when it comes to rating the on-the-job performance of George W. Bush. The president, himself, acknowledges as much.
But if there ever came a time when one stooped too low, it is now.
"Demgurl" is the online pseudonym of a popular veteran contributor to the partisan Web site DemocraticUnderground.com. Last week, the Democrat disclosed that she was on her way home and encountered a minivan beside a freeway offramp.
"There was a lady standing next to the van, and in her arms she held her child. I can only assume her minivan had broken down," she said. "I slowed down and started to pull over to offer her a ride. At the very last second, I noticed a 'W' sticker on the back of her vehicle, and I sped up and drove off.
"I feel really bad as a human being," she confessed. "That child is not responsible for their parent's belief system. ... I wondered how a person could see what was going on in [New Orleans] and still have one of those awful stickers on their car? How could they support an awful excuse for a human being that has let our country down and is letting Americans die after they have made it through the storm?"
So whatever became of the stranded mother and child?
"I thought that if she loves [Mr. Bush] so much, maybe he would come along and help her," she said. "Let's see what her hero can do for her."

Americaphobes'
European reporters flocking to France were all ears when former "James Bond" actor Pierce Brosnan, attending the Deauville Festival of American Cinema, blasted the Bush administration's "shameful" response to Hurricane Katrina.
"This man called President Bush has a lot to answer for,"

I suspect that McCaslin - the compiler of "Inside The Beltway," reads FR regularly for hot tips, and that he saw the 9/2/05 FR posting that reported this DU thread, entitled "I did not stop to help a W supporter today." --demgurl at DU

Those Caring, Compassionate Lefties

People who hate George W. Bush claim to be compassionate, caring, loving types with a deep sympathy for their fellow human beings in trouble that the president supposedly lacks. Here, then, is one of those compassionate, caring types in action: "demgurl" of the Democratic Underground (hat tip to National Review Online’s Kathryn Jean Lopez):

"I was on my home and was on the ramp getting off the highway. I saw a mini-van on the side of the road. There was a lady standing next to the van and in her arms she held her child. I can only assume her mini-van had broken down. I don’t know, perhaps with so many gad stations being out of gas, she had also run out. I slowed down and started to pull over to offer her a ride. At the very last second I noticed a ’W’ sticker on the back of her vehicle and I sped up and drove off.

"I feel really bad as a human being. That child is not responsible for their parent’s belief system. They are innocent and do not deserve to be out in the heat. (It is warm but not so bad that they would even break a sweat) I try not to punish people for what they believe.

"On the other hand, so many hateful thoughts went through my head. I wondered how a person could see what was going on in NO and still have one of those awful stickers on their car. How could they support an awful excuse for a human being that has let our country down and is letting Americans die after they have made it through the storm? How can someone be so blind and so stupid?

"I thought that if she loves * ["demgurl"’s nickname for Bush] so much, maybe he would come along and help her the same way he is rescuing all of those poor people in the weather stricken part of our country. Let’s see what her hero can do for her."

"I never did go back. I was so upset with that sticker and with the fact that someone would support an idiot who is so clearly running our country into the ground."

Later, "demgurl" repented and posted further: "No matter who it is, next time I would pull over." But most of the rest of the Democratic Underground were of the opinion that she had nothing to be sorry about. A sampling of the You Go Gurl! comments:

"LOL! Love it! Make her a captive audience for a Bush rant!"

"I think you did the right thing. They’re harsh people who careless about other people. Let them get some of what they love. What goes around comes around."

"Tough call. Tell her to take the W sticker off and you’ll gladly help"

"I’ve never been put in that position...but I can say that everytime I see one of those stickers, the hate that fills my mind is almost embarrassing. People I don’t even know, and I see that sticker and all of a sudden I hate their guts."

"Quit kicking yourself over it. She’s not suffering anywhere NEAR what those people down south are right now."

"I’d have definitely done the same thing. I don’t know that it is good for my karma, but that’s the way I feel. They don’t seem to care about the dead in Iraq, or much of anything except gays not marrying and the rich getting richer."

"I probably would have laughed evilly at her misfortune...bwa ha ha...maybe bush will chopper in to save you!"

"Well, Republicans like to say they don’t need anyone’s help."

Aren’t lefties nice people?

7. I understand, demgurl.

Completely and totally.

The last few days have been REALLY difficult for me at work. I have been full of the most seething, white hot rage at these people-- the ones who were proclaiming their support for Bush before the election. Now they're all "Oh I sent so much to the Red Cross."

I feel like snapping "It's the LEAST you could f***ing do, you selfish b**tard. It's because of you and your selfishness that this happened."

One of them asked me this morning was I ok...I looked upset. I had just heard New Orleans' mayor on Air America in the car. I told her I was very upset about New Orleans and tried to turn around so my tears wouldn't show.

"Oh I know..." she began, "but they're getting relief in there today...."

And honestly, I turned around with HATE in my eyes, and through clenched teeth, said "That's NOT what I was upset about." We gazed at each other, and she knew EXACTLY what I meant.

But I've been cautioned before about politics. So I bit my tongue until it bled and left it at that.

Don't feel bad. We're liberals, but we're not stupid. I'm having a really bad problem with this too.

Next time, stop to help, do everything right, be the bigger person, and then when you're ready to drive off say, "You want might be intersted to know that you were just helped by a LIBERAL. It's what we DO. HELP people."

Try not to kick yourself too much. we're not perfect.

Every time I see one of those, or especially one of the rarer "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON --- ONE TERM" bumper stickers while out walking my dog, it takes all my willpower to refrain from leaving a note under their wiper that quotes their bumper sticker followed by a, "NYAH NYAH!! LOSER!! HEE HEE HEE!"

During Monicagate I sported a rather large bumper sticker reading, "SAVE THE PRESIDENT! LEGALIZE PERJURY!" I loved to sneak a peak in my rear view mirror when people pulled up behind at stoplights. Most had no reaction - likely didn't even read it. But a fair number of people would crack up, some of them slapping the wheel and dashboard in delight, and an even fewer number would just scowl.

After watching the left's actions during this disaster, I think that they have shown a whole new side and we should thank them. This has shown us that not only are the left a bunch of anti-American, treasonous bastards, having shown this during the war, but that they are also just bottem feeding, despicable, walkin' talkin' scum who are lower than worm turds. What they are doing now is another all time low, even for them. For them to win elections is unthinkable and a nightmare.

".... it takes all my willpower to refrain ...."

Actually, I greatly exaggerate. I don't ever come close to leaving gloating notes under windshield wipers. I just like to fantasize about doing this. In fact, even while driving, I have never yet treated any car differently because it sported a Kerry/Edwards sign or even one of the more obnoxious ones (eg "BUCK FUSH!")

I am proud of the fact that I am an "Equal Opportunity" bad driver!

You should, "DemGurl." You are a bigot on par with the worst of the KKK. In fact, you're worse than that. You hate others simply because they disagree with you.

May you actually learn what "tolerance" and "respect for diversity" actually means before the final reckoning. All you are now is an idiot hypocrite mouthing hollow words.

And it's people like you who are the most disgusting filth that humanity has to offer.

bottem feeding, despicable, walkin' talkin' scum who are lower than worm turds

It definitely is one of the baser human instincts to view another's tragedy as a golden opportunity to gain some advantage for yourself; to turn someone else's despair into your own joy.

Remember that news story years ago about an ambulance chasing lawyer who hired a friend to dress up as a priest in order to gain access to a hangar full of grieving relatives who had gathered at the airport after a major airline disaster? While walking around pretending to console people, he surreptitiously handed out the lawyer's business cards, uring them to call.

And today we see all kinds of vermin who are overjoyed at the opportunity to take selfish advantage of the tragedy in N.O. We have the looters stealing the remaining prize possessions left behind in people's ruined homes. We have child rapists who will use the breakdown in law and order to their advantage. And we have the Liberals who will tell any lie they can think of in a crass attempt to turn the sorrow, even grief, of millions into anger at Republicans.

Bottom feeders, all.

b) instead of a note under, you'd tear off, said wiper.

Jabbar Gibson's first time behind the wheel of a school bus was spent
transporting dozens of people from New Orleans to the Reliant
Astrodome.

After the Governor is removed for incompetence
The citizens of Louisiana can appoint this fellow as
stand in Governor. He seems to have more common
sense and leadership capability's than the current mayor
and Governor put together.

I don't post this to be spiteful to the state government
but the way the situation was mishandled rose to the level of outright incompetence.

Then to add insult to injury a disgraceful campaign
to smear and humiliate the president of the United States
(IMHO one of the best we have ever had) pursued as a cover
up. The MSM acted as co conspirator in every way without
ever checking a single fact.
As usual most of their claims have disintegrated
into nothing more than mindless propaganda.
Does the media realize that they are going to pay for this
in the form of their credibility?

And the Hollywood crowd like Pearce making statements like this against President Bush?

What makes him think some of us won't forgo going to one
of his movies of buying the DVD remembering what a Marxist stooge
he is.

For every action there is an opposite and equal REACTION.

She is everything that is detestible in a sub-human. People like her stoked the ovens in Nazi Germany...When politics trump compassion there is always evil. I read where one DU poster turned in her neighbor to DFACs because the neighbor supported Pres. Bush. I bet it backfired. I know of a case where an ex-husband accused his wife, and she was completely cleared. Dear old hubby paid the social workers salaries for several weeks and barely avoided prosecution. DFACs takes a dim view of false reports.

Funny, but if I saw someone broken down with a Kerry bumper sticker, I'd have stopped, rendered any assistance possible, and not given a second thought about politics. At least, that's what I've done in the past.

I had hoped that people like demgurl would be the exception, but based on the responses, I see that the party that claims to care more, really only cares about themselves and those who have placed themselves under the democrat yoke.

May their chains rest lightly upon them.
