Oh, I hate to miss the Symphony in the Park, since it is just down the street from us. You know they have re-done Zumwalt Park and Rotary has built a beautiful gazebo there. It is a very nice setting for this type of thing.
Is it always the second Saturday in September? Hope not, because it will conflict with the FR FResno picnic every year. :-(
Hope you can make it to the rally tomorrow...and the dinner that follows. :-)

Is it always the second Saturday in September? Hope not, because it will conflict with the FR FResno picnic every year. :-( I'm not sure. We were there last year, but I really have no idea what date it was. It was a very "Stars And Stripes" show last year, and it brough tears to my eyes as they played the theme song for each branch of the military in turn, and for each song you could see all of the retirees stand up for their particular branch's song. I'm only a MarineBrat, but I still had to stand for "The Halls Of Montezuma."
Hope you can make it to the rally tomorrow...and the dinner that follows. :-)
I'm going to try to, though we'll see. I've been very busy with clients all week, and sometimes Fridays get hectic.

Hay thanks for the ping!
I'll be there tomorrow and for the picnic on Sat.
My Hummingbird farm has been very prolific, so I will be bringing the traditional Hummingbird Egg Omelette again this year.
It's been a bad year for Rinos, so the sautayed...sauteed? rhino tips will be on a first come first serve basis.

I didn't know Califory-uns ate BBQ. Shows you what I know about Californy-uns, even though I used to be one a long while back.
:-)
Sounds awesome.

Sounds likes a good time (as always)
Too busy with local stuff here in San Jose.
To: SerpentDove
We gots the BEST BBQ out here in the West.
But last nite went to Tony Roma's and had the steak.
The small BBQ joints have the real stuff.
If you would have started driving Thursday you could make it to the picnic!

Hmmmph. I'd figure you'd get a doggie (in my case, kitty) bag and bring me some leftovers on your way back.

Randy wants me to say that we are embarrassed and humiliated and senile....
In recompense, he would like to send you one of the following (please state your preference and FReepmail me an address):
The Connection (Saddam and al Qaida) by Stephen Hayes
Deliver Us from Evil by Sean Hannity
1776 by David McCullough
6 old issues of Astronomy magazine
We had a great time at the great tailgate picnic in Fresno earlier today! Great party!
Randy especially was in 7th Heaven...Scrabble, winning a prize, good food and good conversation!
And my compliments to whoever cooked the tri-tip. Boy, was that good! Wish I'd gone back for another serving....

Ah, don't worry 'bout it... I misspelled "squall", we're even. LOL. I had a great time though, thanks for that! Gonna bring a Scrabble board from now on. And yeah, JKPhoto makes a mean tri-tip.
