Last time I checked, Governor Grey Doofus WAS a "moderate, pragmatic" Democrat who VETOED the licenses-for-illegals bill originally (and only signed it into law as a despeate attempt to get "hispanic" votes during the recall election), so how is this differetn than Ahnuld vetoing the bill but saying he's OPEN to supporting a "different" version of the same legislation?
I think Grey Doofus was one of the RATs who was "personally against gay marriage but for civil unions" double-talk candidates too, otherwise they would have passed it under Doofus' tenure.
Honestly, I fail to see why the Ahnuldbots hate Doofus so much. As far as I can tell, he's identical to Ahnuld on the issues -- with the exception that Doofus was slightly to the right of Ahnuld on capital punishment.
