What do you expect from DUmmie RATS? They like living in dark damp smelly sewer water chocked full of disease, no electricity or running water, and flushing toilets. They can't see why they are removing these people from such a cozy sounding place.

They'll always blame Bush! They still blame Nixon and Reagan.

Thanks for posting this. The media has just been sickening in their coverage. Much time spent trying to blame Bush, not nearly as much time explaining the amazing evacuation effort. What a marvelous job has been done, and is still being done! Helping people out of the area, setting up shelters, finding places for people to stay on a more permanent basis, taking care of their basic needs. The task has been monumental.
The Federal Government, the relief agencies, and other citizens who have participated in this effort should all be congratulated. If this had happened with a Democrat in the White House, just think how different the coverage of this story would have been!

I pretty much agree, but..... It is slowing and hindering his ability to get things done. And this is exactly what the lefties, radicals want and manage to accomplish because we don't call them on it. That lie just keeps getting bigger and bigger that it cripples any efforts

But like you said, I strongly believe there are dozens of on the fence lurkers who will say "Ah HA!" to a calm bit of logic. That's how I was converted, so to speak. Same here.
For me, being a conservative means that I can think for myself, that I don't have to follow the party dogma, that I can disagree with my fellow conservatives.
When I do argue with liberals, usually in a face-to-face situation, all I do is to plant a little seed of doubt in their heads, let them start thinking on their own. Eventually, they will walk out of the liberal plantation on their own.

You may have a point, but if you participate you still get nothing done. Look at what happened to Trent Lott. He did nothing wrong except he forgot that his enemies were on the sidelined just waiting to pounce. He stopped to engage in the battle and lost. I still believe that when the truth doesn't matter, there is no point in doing battle.
Cordially,

is it not true that the bush administration did not get relief into the gulf region until friday, 4 days after the hurricane? could not the 82nd airborne been activated to aid in relief efforts, late monday?
If you will remember, there was no emergency in NO till sometime Tuesday after the levees broke. It was Wednesday before the gov of LA would give permission to turn it over to the military. Food and water arrived soon after. Then early Friday the full military arrived and restored order and evacuated all those people in something like 12 hours. Pretty amazing, I'd say. the fact is if the governer hadn't drug her feet help would have arrived BEFORE the hurricane. THIS IS KEY! I'm not shouting. The caps are for emphasis.

It was a morbid undercurrent of disgusting glee from the Liberals maybe all the dead and suffering would finally be President Bushs downfall. From 'gun control' to bashing the president to earnestly working for this country's downfall, liberals have ever and always been comfortable dancing in the blood of the very victims they've created. It's sick, it's ghoulish, and theose who do so are not fit to live.

"I am sick and tired of you on the Left calling MY President..."
I like it! Just one criticism; The "Left" is too generic. How about naming names? We on the right know who they are, but it's about time people start going on record, it's about time we truly question their patriotism, and to do that properly, All Americans need to know those names.

What attempt did Lott make to "engage" his enemies? (I'm assuming you're referring to the Thurmond birthday incident) I don't recall him making a single attempt to elucidate what the hell he was referring to when he suggested that a Thurmond presidency would have prevented a lot of the problems we see nowadays. He was practically inviting people to draw their own conclusions on that, and his reticence naturally would have led people to conclude that he had good reason (from his perspective) not to want people to know what he was thinking when he said it.

He didn't try to defend his comment, he tried appeasement with the "apology" of a sort. He would have come out far better just to ignore the whole thing.
