The original poster is just the start Mr.S. Sometimes I think the mods let some of these people hang out just so we can keep our talons sharp.

Hey happy? Look at post 119 and answer the same questions.

Even though you are not a member of the republipuke party (as they say in DUh) I think you should share your thoughts, meld with us if you would.

Thanks, I think. As soon as I regain ocular control from attempting to read this thing, I will join in the fun. Saw the post early on, and the new status. Chose to ignore it until the ping.

Oh, and one last little note if you're really a Ron Paul fan:

Ron Paul lies.

You see, he couldn't possibly be dumb enough to believe that a few uniform features for drivers licenses makes a national ID card at all, much less that it is the equivalent of the Gestapo stopping people on the street and sneering, "Papers, please."

He cannot possibly be dumb enough to believe that the same law enforcement techniques used against Mafiosos, major drug dealers and Nazi spies have no place in the War on terror and are an effort by this administration to install fascism.

When I call Ron Paul a liar, I give him the benefit of the doubt, because all the other people who believe the things he professes about the War on Terror and the Iraq theater of that war are only believed by those who are dumb as dirt, drug-addled, insane or ignorant of foreign affairs in a way no Congressman could be without violating his Constitutional oath. People like Paul are the reason I will never vote for a libertarian candidate, because to much of the Libertarian movement simply can't deal with reality.

No evidence existed to show an alliance between Iraq and al Qaeda before the war

Yeah, they were only treating Al-Qaeda battlefield casualties in their hospitals. They were only so friendly that Richard clarke told Clinton that Osama would run to Baghdad if he had to leave Sudan.

Ron Paul is a liar. No person with intel access believes that there was no working relationship.

”“If we weren't in the Middle East, we would not have terrorism against the US. Simple as that.”

And:
* the reason Muslim terrorist attack India and China is?
* the reason Muslim terrorist slotter people in Sudan and Ethopia is?
* the reason Muslim terrorist has been murdering Amaricans even before GWI is?

Ron Paul used to be a hero of mine; he was one of the reasons I became a Libertarian. But now that I see Ron Paul and most Libertarians ignore facts in order too make an argument, shows me why I want nothing to do with the party.

Two words for you: Salman Pak.

Oh, and try this on for size:

As a conservative who opposes the liberation of Iraq, perhaps you would like to answer my Big Five Questions of Ultimate Iraqi Wisdom. There are few takers, but I’m sure you’ll answer up instead of hiding under your desk.

The Big Five Questions of Ultimate Iraqi Wisdom!

Finish one or more of the following sentences and show us the boffo supra-genius reasoning that lead you to it:

1. Iraq was not a terrorist state, and my case for this assertion is...

2. Even though Iraq harbored, trained and funded terroists, it was not a legitimate target because...

3. We should not be fighting the War on Terror at all because...

4. The current level of military casualties in a 3 year war that started with the slaughter of 3,000 noncombatants on our home soil in 90 minutes is a huge problem because...(Note: Before answering this question, you may want to review the number of casualties experienced by the U.S. in WWII, or at Shiloh or Cold Harbor, or in any particular week of the Tet Offensive.)

5. If we leave terrorist states up and running, I foresee the next major terrorist attack will be prevented by...

Some of you guys need to lay off the Kool-Aid and get out of the cult. Sooner or later, even a majority of this board will drop their foolish defense of this War on Iraq. Most of you, anyway.

Dream on...

Figure I'll just answer both of your non-sensical one liners in one post. How's that?

Find one example of conservatives pounding drums outside of the Impeached Rapist's White House over his Kosovo wag of the dog. Find one example of conservatives picketing wounded soldiers from Kosovo.

Ah, I see. So it's the level at which the protests occur. Got your hot liitle hands on a newer version of the Alien and Sedition Acts do you? First time that was tried states nullified it. God willing they'll do it again. Whether or not you agree or disagree with the police action currently in Iraq, they have the right to protest the actions of their government. Do I agree their current mode of protest is distasteful? In certain situations (namely protesting wounded soldiers) yes I do.

Banging drums outside of the White House? How dare they!?! Why, a politician lives there. And we can't bother our politicians with our concerns. It's just a building, it's not a church you know.

Why don't you ask Afghan or Iraqi women, you anti-military blowhard?

Oh good another slur and even another concern that is none of the business of the national government. Well that is I suppose unless you can find the ridiculous mission of 'spreading democracy' by force in the Constitution or expanded on by the Framers. Since you can't, quit while you're ahead. BTW, I think you could work a little harder to come up with something better than 'anti-military blowhard'.

When he ran for President I asked him point blank if he was in favor of legalizing all drugs and if he supported abortion on demand. He refused to give a definitive answer, but instead talked in general terms about room for compromise on party platforms.

This morning, I read a portion of Hugh Hewitt's book, If It Isn't Close, They Can't Cheat in which he discussed John Kerry's answer to a questionarre from some hard left moonbat anti-war group. Out of the six questions Hewitt quoted, 4 of Kerrys answers were either "support" or "oppose," and the other two were (IIRC) two sentences long.

When John Kerry is more solid and honest on policy positions than you are, you are really a first class weasel.

"i've got a better idea; lets do it to you instead. at least some people put some thought into their posts. but then again, without sheeple like you, i wouldn't have so many hours of laughs a day." What was the initial request of the poster? Answer: They asked folks to provide a reaction to the contents of this article. Am I correct? I simply provided my reaction. The poster did not ask for honest well thought out dialog in which would expose many totally in-accurate statements within this article. Now I have taken note you are a relatively new FR member. Welcome aboard. Hope your stay is pleasant as well as informative. I will only add, that if you somewhat side with what the author feels is true, perhaps a few months of carefull search through FR archives on the Iraqi war, reason for going to war, the Intellegience yields behind the reasons for going to war, such as the many well known connections between al Qaeda, people like Abu Musab al-Zarqawi known meetings on and off with Saddam's Intel people, the known terrorist training camps in Iraq, reading the 9/11 Special Commission Report, and many other documents contained in the FR archive, the now exposed connections between Atta and Iraqi Secret Service, etc., do not convince you that most of what the article tries to mislead folks, is just that, deceit, then so be it. I wonder if you are even aware, that there was a Boeing 737 commercial airliner sitting on blocks in Salmon PAK, some eight miles south of Baghdad, which was used for training terrorist in how to hijack commercial airliners. But again, poster asked for a reaction I provided my reaction.

Thank you for shining a bright light on the cock roaches. At least one newbie troll went up in smoke. The others will be remembered for their anti-American, anti-Troop, pro-terrorist rants seen here today.

All you great FReepers who came bearing flashlights, good job! Take a bow!
