German sources suggest Bosnia-linked cell preparing new UK attack
Serbianna ^ | September 13, 2005

Text of report by Udo Ulfkotte entitled "Security circles: Indications of a third London terror cell", published by German news agency ddp on 12 September

September 12, 2005 --Frankfurt am Main: There are indications that the Al-Qa'idah terror organization has an intact network operating in the Balkans. Sources within the Federal Intelligence Service (BND) intimate that both the Madrid terrorists, and some of those who perpetrated the London bombings, had "contacts with Bosnia". These sources told ddp news agency that European intelligence services had "vague indications that another terror cell controlled from Bosnia is preparing a new attack on London".

Not only are the Al-Qa'idah terror group's structures in the Middle East being kept under observation by the intelligence services; but the situation in the Balkans as a whole also "gives cause for concern".

The King Fahd Mosque in Dobrinja, a suburb of Sarajevo, is also described as "a hotbed" of violent extremists. The "Balkans, particularly Bosnia and Kosovo" are said to be "a dangerous breeding-ground, presently under scarcely any observation, for Islamist terrorists". Muslims from Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and Great Britain are reportedly travelling there to be "fanaticized".

Western security circles report that two young Muslims accidentally blew themselves up in Kosovo recently, when they were trying to test a mobile phone converted into a remote-controlled bomb. The men were said to have been attending a seminar organized by the Revival of Islamic Heritage, which had cooperated in the past with the Afghan Support Committee founded by Usamah Bin-Ladin.

In addition, though the Al Haramain Foundation, accused by the US government of funding terror groups, has been closed down, an organization calling itself Vazir and purportedly dedicated to sport, culture and education is reportedly still operating there. Many such foundations are said to be once again serving as "camouflage for the indoctrination and training of terrorists". Though the mujahidin groups' former training camps in Bosnia have been closed down, military training still continues there, under the guise of "youth camps or sports courses", according to BND circles.

One of the most well-known mujahidin leaders in the Balkans, Abdelkader Mokhtari, also known by the name of Abu El-Maali [names as published], who was said to be implicated in a failed bomb attack on US soldiers in Germany at the end of the 1990s, has now reportedly returned to Bosnia, and to have found a safe bolthole there. The degree to which the Balkans, and particularly Bosnia and Kosovo, have now reverted into travel destinations for Islamist extremists from western Europe is regarded as striking. The case of an incorrupt Serbian policeman, who in June arrested 22-year-old Moroccan Abdelmajid Bouchar [name as published], who was wanted in connection with the March 2004 bomb attacks on Madrid, is cited as an exception.

the commanders of the JNA were non-Serbs, fact. Need a list?

The muslims knew how to play the game and knew how to use PR. Majority of the "muslim dead" were Serbs and was orchestrated to be seen as "butchered muslims", but were in fact "butchered Serbs".

One of Burns's first stories after his arrival back in Sarajevo in July 1993 contained a reference to the infamous "bread line massacre" of the previous year, which Bosnian Muslims used to pressure the U.N. Security Council as it prepared to vote for sanctions against Serbia. A year after some U.N. official acknowledged that Muslims, not Bosnian Serbs, had set off explosive that killed 22 civilians outside a Sarajevo bakery. Burns and the "Times" still reported the claim that a Serb mortar had caused the tragedy. Ironically, that same July 5 story by Burns focused on Bosnian paramilitary police in Sarajevo who were firing mortars on nearby Bosnian army units. Repeated attempts to interview Burns, who returned briefly to Toronto last June, were unsuccessful.

There have also been questions about Roy Gutman's Pulitzer-winning scoops in August 1992 about two Serb-run "death camps." Gutman constructed his accounts, to his credit, admittedly so, from alleged survivors of Manjaca and Trnopolje. But as one British journalist, Joan Phillips, has pointed out: "The death camp stories are very thinly sourced. They are based on the very few accounts from hearsay. They are given the stamp of authority by speculation and surmise from officials. Gutman is not guilty of lying. He did not try to hide the fact that his stories were thinly sourced." But it is also true, as Phillips noted, that Gutman's disclaimers were placed near the end of the article. Yet those stories were the principal basis for the world's belief that the Serbs were not simply holding Muslim prisoners but were operating death camps in Bosnia. Phillips also drew attention to Gutman's visit in September 1992 to the scene of a massacre of 17 Serbs near Banja Luka, which went unreported until December 13, three months later. Gutman could not be contacted and "Newsday" editors would not explain the lapse in publication. Gutman did discuss his reporting later on: in an interview in the July 1993 "American Journalism Review," he explained that he had abandoned strict objectivity in his coverage in order to pressure governments to act.

The entire media response to the issue of atrocities against Serbs raises a troubling question: why did the press show such minimal interests in Serb claim of death camps housing their own people? Documents submitted to the European parliament and U.N. by Bosnian Serbs have included horrible claims:

The Serb were made out to be the bad guys for hitting Gorazde in April 94. Intel came that the muslims were planning on dropping chlorine into the water treatment/tower that supplied the entire region/districts.

If that was accomplished, many ppl on all sides would have been dead or gravely ill. the bosnian serbs made preemptive strike to disable the water tower/center. once they gained control of that tower area, they moved out of town. but, they never relinquished the control of it. the muslims knew and then were told by Gen Rose if they (muslms) made any attempt to sabotage the tower, he'd allow the Serbs to have Gorazde. It had nothing to do with "mladic backing down"..that was all public posturing. The muslms knew if that was legitimized by Gen Rose to the press, serious black eye for the muslims.

Seseljs boys were the ones who took control of the tower and the town center. Funny thing, they opened up a corridor for the injured muslm civlians to be evacuated to safety. The muslim civilians were being held hostage by the muslm army. STrange it took "Seseljs figthers" to free them from terror and into the safety of the Serbs.

You do what all sides in the Balkans love to do: drown you in a long list of crimes by the other side, as if the other side couldn't provide such a list themselves, even a longer one.

By mid-1993, the ability to tell the Serb side of the story was gone, as some observers recognized.

Gee I wonder why. Serbophibia I guess....

Ah so the Serbs were actually saving the people of Gorazde.

The Muslims in the town seem to think otherwise. In fact many were refugees from Foca, Visegrad and elsewhere cleansed by the Serbs and were scared sh*tless by the prospect of being overrun again.

looky what i found on the 'net, an incomplete and one side of the story. I finally did a "yahoo search' instead of using my personal knowledge of boots on the ground. Gen Rose was in the beginning hard nose against the Serbs til he began witnessing the sick acts the muslims were doing to their own people.

Serbs Exit Blasting
Troops smash water source, leave Gorazde a shambles

By Roy Gutman. EUROPE CORRESPONDENT

Bonn, Germany - Bosnian Serb troops withdrew their heavy weapons
from the center of Gorazde yesterday, but burned down houses, blew up a
vital water treatment plant and fired mortars and sniper rifles as they
pulled out, the United Nations announced.
Yasushi Akashi, the chief UN representative in Bosnia, said the
Serbs had made "progress" but they were "not perfect" in implementing
the ceasefire they had signed with the UN after NATO threatened massive airstrikes.
...

oh another!

US Army analyst, Lt. Col John E. Sray wrote in his wartime diary that reporters Christiane Amanpour and Peter Jennings accepted Muslim propaganda as unvarnished truth, and sent anti-Serb reports from Bosnia.

Serbs were blamed for the atrocities in Vase Miskina street [breadline] and Markale [marketplace], where several dozen innocent civilians were killed. This led to sanctions against Serbia (from 1992 onward), and the bombing of Bosnian Serb military positions [in 1995]. Almost a decade later, then-UNPROFOR commander, UK General Michael Rose explained in his memoirs that Serbs were falsely accused, and that the fatal shells most likely came from Muslim positions in order to provoke a reaction of the West.

Concerning the 1993 massacre at the Sarajevo Markale marketplace, future US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright not only lied, but in her effort to deceive the world also declared the evidence “classified.” The evidence she tried to suppress has revealed beyond any doubt that Bosnian Muslims butchered their own people to win world sympathy. That lie has subsequently cost the Serbs thousands of innocent lives.

The Western public calmly ignores the fact that many Pulitzer laureates built their careers on Serb-slandering lies. Reporters of the British ITN, who shot the exclusive footage of “starving Bosniaks in Serb concentration camps,” did not confess until 1997 that the footage was a deception.

CNN’s star reporter Christiane Amanpour often reported from Pale, claiming to be “live from Sarajevo,” and solicited outrage against the “Chetniks who raped 50,000 Bosniak women.” No one in the West seemed interested for the epilogue of such stories, such as the case of one of the allegedly “raped” Bosniak women, who was given asylum in Switzerland and there gave birth to an African baby. Similar monstrous lies were repeated during the Kosovo war, again demonizing the Serbs.

what they don't tell you is that the muslims were using gorazde as a staging ground for forays into Serbia proper. Thereby, the muslims were entering Serbia, i.e crossing newly recognized international borders to attack innocent civlians inside Serbia-Montenegro.

To top it off, the muslims were in the process of putting chlorine into the regions water treatment tower. Using religious places as wpns emplacements and shield. I can go on and on...

What's with this condesending "johnny onthespot" crap?

Don't like it when people don't swallow your nationalistic version of events?

Refugees trapped in Gorazde (having been first driven from elsewhere) say they were scared sh*tless. I don't suspect you've ever looked up any refugee accounts that weren't Serbian so I guess you'd have no bloody idea!

where or who were your sources that you 'heard this from"? The muslim ham radio operators that were giving out radio reports? by the way, that was the only source of information eminating from Gorazde and Srebrenica the reporters were writing about. Prior to Serbs regaining their land back and having the muslim civilians telling their side of the story.

By the way johnnyonthespotty, majority of the the muslim refugees from gorazde departed to Serbia. Why didn't they head towards muslim areas? They were afraid of being 'being used as shields and pawns, victims of their own bih army terror tactics.

Hey, johnnyonthespoty, you tell me more information that contradicts what Rose and McKenzie say and from what I know.

Heck Johnnyonthespotty, you can't even tell differant then what you were fed from Christiane Amanpour - the minnie mouse that saves Sarajevo!

Ah Living Marxist! Where would Serbs be without that trustworthy source...

The editors of that commie rag acknowledged on the stand during libel trial that the camps were God-awful places where people met horrible ends. But don't let that stop you!

How old are you?

Seriously, you debate like a 14 year old boy!

You know, one part of me wishes we'd backed the Serbs...simply because they were fighting Muslims and Muslims haven't been in my good books for, oh, about 4 years and 5 days now...

but then I think about people like you and how you led Serbia to its present place and I suddenly don't think we bombed you guys enough!

One last thing, bell, before I leave this annoying farce of an exchange....

Ever notice how the likes of Living Marxist, Ramsey Clark, International ANSWER, the Communist Party and other such characters on the looney left regularly jump to the defence of the nationalist "Serb cause" that led many good Serbs to ruin?

Ever wonder why that is?

easy answer johnnyonthespotty. They are anti-American and will jump at the chance to fete out their own hatred of this American Nation.

The Serbs didn't realize the impact that a PR campaign would have til it was too late.

The first sign of being defeated is namecalling as you have done.

I could care less about the people over their, just the truth, just the truth.

If you know anything about me, which you don't, you'd know that about me. That is why I'm not the most popular on here, even with the pro-Serb crowd.

I call 'em as the truth pans out.

Result of UNPROFOR and the Italian investigation is that “Stinger” supplied by Afghanistan “freedom fighters” to extremist in Sarajevo had been used.

But, as we now, all Yugoslav truths are not for telling. Plane has been shot down deep in Croat-Muslim held territory and they couldn’t pin this down on Serbs so they stayed numb and they never went public with their findings.

Same is happening in London, where Metropolitan Police still refuse to tell of what origin is explosive used in terrorist attack. Or in Potocari:
Police "on the track" of Srebrenica bombers
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1437296/posts?page=1

Maybe rockets had came trough Pakistan or were brought by Bin Laden himself. One German journalist recognized him leaving Izetbegovic’s office. She was in the hallway waiting for the interview and had little chat with Osama. “Nice, polite, quiet man” – she described him.
Bottom line – nobody ever accused Croats from Kiseljak for downing this plane so cut BS.

Kiseljak has been manipulated enough!

Christiane Amanpour publicised on November 1992 visited the small Croatian town of Kiseljak (about 20 miles from Sarajevo) and showed the unusually good life of the population there. The town was full of food, meat, tropical fruit and petrol," yet in Sarajevo, people were dying of starvation". Her conclusion was that because of this, the sanctions should be tightened against the Serbs!

Lemme guess - it's a "Secret" report, which is why you can't provide it to back your allegations.

Whatever.

Loosely translated, this states that the G-222 was shot down by 2 SA-9s fired from a hilltop in Croatian controlled territory while on final approach to Sarajevo, in the agreed humanitarian air corridor.

And who is this nobody doing the talking?

The Italian Defence Ministry - nobody important, so you can just keep on spouting your version of events regardless.
