Did you happen to catch the NPR "email" from the doctor in New Orleans where they left out ALL the positive things the doctor said about the aid coming in to the hospitals etc?

I am Gentile and a Texan. I went on a trip to Israel, led by a Rabbi. In a moment of private discussion about Texas, I jokingly mentioned that I had what every Texan wanted. A place big enough and private enough to pee off the front porch.
Recently spoke with my daughter in Miami. I was informed this became the subject of "polite" conversation over dinner a few weeks ago.
Still not sure what to make of it, if anything.

I think they're desperate. I live in union thug Dem land. Dems have to have control at all times everywhere, and that makes their behavior very readable.
When they spin, they feel in control, confident and arrogant. When they do this kind of crude hatchet job, they're desperate, scared, losing control and frankly, more dangerous.
I've been thinking about that a lot watching the Roberts hearing.
I think they are finally realizing that they aren't going to be in power for a long, long time and they're just willing to do or say whatever it takes to try to get it back, even if it means dividing this nation; in fact, I think a divided nation -- perhaps even a race war -- would suit them just fine.

If he got up at the wrong time, it could have been reported as an affront to some country or to someone who was talking.

you bring up a point I have been thinking. How in the heck did a photographer get close enough to see personal notes between the two of them?!? What if what he wrote was of great national security!?
Precisely! It is not the words that are the scandal. It is the invasion of privacy - which libs SAY they value above all else.

I remember when I posted that article; it was when I actually subscribed to The Weekly Standard.
It was one of the articles that convinced me that Bush would make a good president.
If I recall correctly, it also put to rest some of the worst of the accusations (on FR) about Bush's business practices.
