She's got to be deathly afraid that tonight Bush is going to lay out the FACTS.
Never gonna happen by the Prez
Networks would accuse him of trying to blame others etc etc etc
His spokesman and GOP leaders should be doing it BUT WON'T

George W. Bush has been a rock-solid, honest leader throughout this set of events. I agree but with the one exception being that I don't think that Brown had to be tossed under the bus. He was made into what ultimately will prove to be an unnecessary scapegoat.

Nagin and Blanco have seriously damaged the DNC in the eyes of Americans of all political persuasions from the screw-ups.
You hope

Ms. Blanco's Clymer moment.
To: Ursus arctos horribilis
Given the ineptitude of Louisiana officials to properly use tax revenues, why would I, as a Texan, want to take the money from my children and hand it to the likes of Blanco? I would rather send my children to a private university,or trip around the world. It makes no sense to repeat the same mistakes that were made before, and it makes less sense to hand the money to people who are crooked as a barrel of fishhooks and as low down as a snakes belly in a wagon track.

Blanco stalled when she should've called.
And then when she lied, New Orleanians died.
(next verse?....)

Well, hopefully at least those with intelligence and not blinded with a seething hate for conservative thought and principles.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her standing with President Bush tonight. He's a good hearted man, and unfortunately will forgive to quickly.

Next she'll be wanting to change parties.

I agree Brown was sacrificed. There were indications that he was in over his head with this one even though he had done well before. I think that the revelations about his resume made him fatally part of the problem as opposed to the solution (politically)

It is amazing how much better the Galveston evacuation seems to be going.
