There you go again, as the Great Man would say. You're not a religious person, you're a hack attempting at cheap point scoring using selected Bible quotes. That is what causes the hostility. What also causes the hostility is the fact that when this is pointed out to you, you go into "snooty, condescending running around yapping like a demented poodle" mode. That makes people want to break your face, such as it is, open.
Now shut up.

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." -- Jesus, Matthew 10:34
Then He said to them, "But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: 'And He was numbered with the transgressors.' For the things concerning Me have an end." So they said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." And He said to them, "It is enough." -- Luke 22:36-38

We're sick to death of being polite to people who claim to be so intelligent and compassionate yet somehow blame George W. Bush for everything in the most hysterical possible language. There is no reasoning with you idiots - you proved it during Impeachment...Well said, Ivan. Regards.

And finally, a word to those Rich folk, like Pat Robertson, and Bush himself, who think they're going to heaven: "Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to get into the Kingdom of Heaven. I say it again--it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!" " Matthew 19:23-24 Being not particularly religious, you may not know the next two lines:
"When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
In other words, God can put a camel through the eye of the needle, and God can put a rich men, even George Soros or Michael Moore, into heaven.
