Rare piece.
Exactly.
I bet the MSM maroon was shocked. He no doubt expected any black Americans he interviewed to tear into Bush and totally excuse Blankmind and Nagin for their criminal negligence and abdication of responsibility. In the immortal words of Gomer Pyle, SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!
I think we may all be amazed at the uprising that may now occur. Nagin has shown all of his cards and they are blank. Bush has obviously decided to use all of the money and federal resources possible to "fix" the problems. The Dems are seeing that Bush is becoming a hero out of this and they are all trying to find another way to make him look bad......
Bush may come out of this one as a new southern hero for the poor!
I love it!
Caution Eagles. Where ever possible, avoid getting into the "He said,She said" because it's like trying to sort flyshit out of ground pepper....'sides, no one gives a rat's ass.
Most of us will be satisfied with "same hero for all Americans"...which uis what he's always been to all of us.
Hail to our Chief!
You were right these past few weeks, and they were wrong. I was glad to see you challenging them.
I observed a major event several years ago. Birds eye view. I watched the local news that evening and thought hey that's not the way it came down. The national news later was even further off the truth. The only thing they had right was the location. Their one interview was someone who came after it was over. Been cynical about "and that's the way it was" ever since.
OOps, sorry. I haven't seen it on the Internet yet but suspect it will show up soon
Welcome back :)
I bet Dean Reynolds had to go to Rick's Place (I think that strip club is still in H-town) and down a whole bunch of expensive, cheap beer to take the sting off of being pimp slapped.

I just read that you were considering (or had left?) FR?
Don't ...EVER...do that! I don't know what the deal was, but don't let the idiots get to ya. You're among friends.
Sergeant, yes Sergeant! When I finally get out of this wheelchair, I'll drop and give you 100 push-ups. In fact, I'll be so daggum happy when that day arrives, I'll do just about anything!;-)

;-)
Here's hoping you get up out of that wheelchair real soon.
If John Kerry was President, you would've already gotten up out of that wheelchair and started walking...
No, you have it twisted. If John F'in Kerry were President, he would have had a plan so that that blue Dodge Ram 2500 would not have ran that light and took me out.
He wouldn't have told me about that plan, of course. If I wanted to read it, I would have been told to go to his web site!

It would have been a lot of fun to ask Reynolds about the interview when he was done. I am sure he had lots of reasons why he thought the NO blacks he met with were such great Bush supporters, but I am sure he was pretty unhappy with his prep team who were responsible for getting the "angry" audience together for his questions! Imagine if you could have gotten him on camera after a couple of Rick's boilermakers!!!! :-)))
