OK. You can call me cynical. If it were only Donna Brazile, I might chalk it up to her being from New Orleans and liking the President's plan.

But when all of a sudden Landrieu and Blaco, followed by Ellen Ratner, Bob Beckel, and Donna Brazile, ALL support the President and start saying complimentary things, I can only conclude one thing:

The polls showed that attacking the President over the hurricane was driving pepople away from them, and they sent out talking points last night changing their strategy.

It's possibly true that the Dems have finally found an issue that they can't get around. I think Blanco and the mayor are only supporting Bush because they hope he'll protect them from criminal prosecution, btw.

But I think Brazile is sincere and some of the others may be, too. At any rate, it wouldn't hurt to treat them that way and see if we can stop the Dem insanity that has divided this country so horribly for years now. I think we should really accept them on the basis of what they are saying.

I know we agreed on this earlier, and I still think your assessment is correct.

But some dems apparently are still behind the curve.Just saw Martin Frost on Fox and he's calling for tax increases.I wonder if he had to turn in his secret decoder ring when he left congress!

Actually Bob Beckel did support the President's plan the next day on one of the morning shows.

The democrats are dead and just doesn't realize it yet.

I concur. Brazile has seen that the best strategy is to cooperate on this issue. Too bad for the rats since their base will abandon anyone who gives aid and comfort to the evil and imbecilic BushCo administration. They must be having heart palpitations over at DU.

It is a great time to be a Republican.
