We don't need 67 votes this time. Bush should fire him from the Katrina project.

I wouldn't call it "sharp criticism" - he merely stated his opinion. I don't think anyone isn't concerned about the budget though. But if we wait until another democrat gets into office, I am sure they will balance the budget as did Bill Clinton. However, I hope that our military isn't sacrificed in the process as it has been in the past - we are going to need a strong, progressive military force in the future.

Slick Willie is morphing into Jimmah Cahtuh right before our eyes.

Maybe Bush 41 needs to take "adopted son" to the woodshed. Nahh, he's too much of a nebbish. Barb can do it better!

Clinton said the Bush administration had decided to invade Iraq "virtually alone and before UN inspections were completed, with no real urgency, no evidence that there were weapons of mass destruction."

I can't believe what a two-faced liar Clinton is.

Saddam Abused His Last Chance, Clinton Says
By Linda D. Kozaryn American Forces Press Service Dec 1998

"Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons," Clinton said. The Iraqi dictator has used these weapons against his neighbors and his own people, he said, and "left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will use these terrible weapons again."

Feb. 4, 1998, Message from President Clinton to the Senate:

The PRESIDING OFFICER laid before the Senate the following message from the President of the United States...[The presidential message concluded with this assessment:]

The policies and actions of the Saddam Hussein regime continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States, as well as to regional peace and security. (Signed William J. Clinton, President of the United States)

SEC. 3. POLICY OF THE UNITED STATES. It should be the policy of the United States to seek to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime.

[ED. NOTE: This law passed overwhelmingly in 1998 and was signed into law by Clinton.

Yet in the post-9/11, post anthrax-attacks world, in 2002-03 Dem senators reversed course and opposed the invasion of Iraq to effect that very regime change policy they had placed into U.S. law. Why? There is only one answer: Because a member of their party was not in the White House. They put raw partisan politics above the national well-being and are still doing so today.

GWB has the philosophy of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. He should nominate Clinton to be Ambassador to Iraq. The Dims are getting frantic and Hillary is proding BJ Clinton to start trashing everything Republican and fabricating a stellar performance of his second term by hiding the giving pardons to terrorists from Puerto Rica, his criminal brother and assorted other crooks and criminals. The Republican Party should start hammering away on his crooked politics NOW.

I think it is long overdue for this Bush Administration to open up the flood gates of the former Clintoon machinations we suffered through for 8 years. It isn't as if Bush has anything to lose in doing so as his term ends in 3 more years. I'm frankly sick to my, stomach to this day, with all the revelations the world has learned of since he left office and they both haven't suffered near enough public lashing for their treachery. The fact she's a Senator of this great country remains a preposterous proposition to me.

Clinton's budget cuts were largely the result of him cutting our active military forces by approx. one-third, a fact which left us critically at risk. (GWB had to immediately rectify the situation upon entering office at a cost of nearly $100 billion)

The other reason Clinton was able to balance the budget number in 1998 and 1999 was the billions of dollars streaming into the US Treasury from capital gains on the ballooning Stock Market.

Consider further that the NASDAQ was down 46 percent from its bubble high on the last day of the last year of Clinton's second term (check it out) === a financial fact which caused tax revenues to drop enormously the first year President GWB took office.

Bottom line: Some economists calculate that nearly $150 billion in capital gains tax revenues were lost due to the Clinton recession, and that doesn't count the tax revenues lost due to rising unemployment and lousy productivity.

Factor in the massive amount of money America needed to protect the country in the wake of 9/11 and the War on Terror (two other events which were planned by our enemies while Clinton fiddled with his wang) and it's easy to see how Clinton screwed the country over.

In other words, it makes me sick to hear Clinton blaming President GWB.

Because the Bush family has too much class, they would never even consider this, but I think Bush-41 should call Billy Boy and tell him to shut it or shove it, so to speak. If he continues to attack Bush-43, then Bush-41 should go public and tell Billy Boy to cease the attacks on the President or he will dump him from the hurricane relief "partnership" and choose someone who is less partisan and more willing to focus on the victims.

That, or sick Barbara on him.

Whoever would have thought Bill Clinton would get so ugly on George Bush so fast?

Birds of a feather flock together. Mr. Bush - please get a clue . .

On Hurricane Katrina, Clinton faulted the authorities' failure to evacuate New Orleans ahead of the storm's strike on August 29.

He's running for Hitlery's campaign now, obviously, and these criticisms make him as odious as Carter, if such a thing is possible. Despicable still describes the Clintons. She must ever become prez or the Republic is really finished. Think what Billious would do again in the WH! Holy cats! The idea is so repugnant I may be ill now just imagining that disaster. GAG!

Well, F-word Bill Clinton and his Hell-hound of a spouse.

I think Bush Senior should go out and campaign viciously against Hillary. Bring up starting int he 2006 election for NY governor that she tried to destroy the our health care system, that her husband let Bin Laden go and gave China the technology to nuke us.

Aim true and shoot hard, these dolts deserve a full attack IMO.

Hillary is just waiting for Bill to die soon to sue it for her elections.
