The donations must be drying up. Now she just needs a good lawyer to file a law suit. The money will help her remember her lost son. /s

By week's end she'll be claiming to have stigmata.
I almost choked on my sandwich reading that one! LOL

Jeez, that whole sentence you quoted was one big lie. Anyway, to answer your question, the headline is intentionally misleading so people who browse headlines or get headlines from MSN sent to their portable devices will think she WAS roughed up.

Yeah, accusing the cops of being rough with her is a sure-fire way of getting the NYPD on your side ( Sarcasm on)
This reminds me of Michael Jackson's claim that the LAPD roughed him up when he was booked.

She wasn't shot or pepper-sprayed, so what is she complaining about? Anyway, it gets her another headline so she should be thrilled!

This is one case where I would not mind seeing the cops beat the snot out of someone, with or without justification.

I'm reading a biography of Teddy Roosevelt right now. I would have liked to seen how old Teddy would have handled Cindy when he was head of the NYPD.
To: Minnesocold
I'm still waiting for someone thats gifted in photoshop to put a mustache on Cindy to see if she looks exactly like Mark Geragos?
To: .cnI redruM
Why stop at roughing? Because it's 15 yards and an automatic first down. ;-}
To: .cnI redruM
She had hell beaten out of her with an ugly stick the day she was born.

Aren't you a NYPD officer? ;-)

When there was going to be a planned protest at Boston's Government Center, The Boston Tactical Police Force would get there hours ahead of time and prepare the area for the dragging removal of the protesters. Did I mention that they were "mounted" police?

I was speaking and someone grabbed my backpack and pulled me back pretty roughly, Sheehan said, describing the scene at Manhattans Union Square on Monday. I was shoved around.
While I don't believe in battering women is here a woman here who would bowrow my aluminunm baseball bat and hit a home run against her head? I can't think of ANYONE in the last 20 years that I have wanted violently hurt more than Cindy. And that includes Hillary. She has built up enough rage in me that I almost feel eligible to become a moonbat. But my rage is based on the anti-American propoganda created by the leftist media that is aiding our enemies. So I guess anger based on logic disqualifies me so I feel better now.

Either that, or she's been ridden hard and put away wet more often than the Stryker vehicles at Ft. Lewis, WA.

Blatant bad journalism alert:
Seems MSNBC likes perpetuating myth. The headline reads Sheehan says cops "roughed her up" and then later in the story we find this paragraph;
"Sheehan, the grieving mother whose vigil near President Bushs Texas ranch sparked anti-war protests around the country, said wasnt roughed up by police, but was jostled when officers broke up the rally and arrested organizer Paul Zulkowitz."
Sensationalism at its finest...
