Air America Host: Treatment of Katrina Victims Analogous to Nazi Treatment of Holocaust Victims

I may catch hell for this, but I was so incensed I had to post this. Here is a paraphrase of what I just heard today at about 1:30 pm pst. The subject was hurricane Katrina and the government's response:

Caller: They were loading the people at the Dome onto buses and not even telling them where they were going. That was horrible. It was like...

Rhodes: Yes, your so right. You know what it reminded me of? I was at the Hollocaust Memorial in DC. They had a display of those, you know, cattle cars. And they were loading the victims into them. You think they were told were they were going? Of course not.

The left's ignorance and distaste for the military shows through in all their comments. Every time they call the President a murderer, every time they wail and moan over prisoner abuse, when they insinuate that people are being herded like Jews to be slaughtered, they are not just accusing the President, they are accusing the military of these things.

Despicable is right. They are scum. Complete scum.

I agree. Democrats Nagin and Blanco had absolutely no regard for the people. They were treated like animals with no food, no water, no care.

The democrats did not even bother to prepare adequate shelter facilities for the poor.

Contrast the Democrats, Nagin and Blanco with the Republican Governor of Texas who is treating his people and the people of Lousiana and New Orleans as human beings and you see why the Democrat Mayor Nagin and Democrat Governor Blanco should be taken to task and shamed for their callous disregard of their constituents.

I caught hell previously from several people for posting something I read at a leftist site. I am a believer in 'knowing your enemy' and do listen or read their stuff on occasions. Truthfully, the more the left speaks out, as Rhodes did, and as Cindy Sheehan has, the more I see Republicans strengthening their hold on Washington.
