AWESOME -- I'm in Mesa, AZ, east of Phoenix and it was spectacular!!!! I didn't think I'd be able to see it way the heck out here!

THAT WAS THE BEST LAUNCH I HAVE EVER WITNESSED FROM A DISTANCE. We got some shots, I'll see if I can post them.

Can normally see the dusk launches from here (near Fresno, CA), but no luck tonight...cloud cover came in from the southland and obscured the view...drats!

Cool... wish I'd seen it. Was it visible up here in the Northwest? Probably not...

I just looked at the thread at t-minus 100 seconds, walked out in front and BAMO! Watched that bad mama all the way. What a show that was!

We got some pics, I'll see if I can post them in a while.

Spectacular view from Anaheim. Second stage light off was a BLAST (no pun intended). My 6 year old daughter just had a rocketry class a couple weeks ago--the "WOW"s and "OOO"s and "AHHHH"s were well worth the wait.

I used to live in Clovis and could see them there too. Now in Bass Lake area and can't see a thing. Hubby is outside now trying! Darn!

I live in the SE corner of Arizona and we saw some of it. All we saw was a circle brighter than the night sky grow from behind the mountains to the NW until it was HUGE and went from the horizon to about 40 degrees up. It expanded rapidly until it was at its largest size and then it faded. It scared my 3-year-old because he'd never seen anything like it. Of course, neither had I.

I tried to take pics, but I'm sure nothing will come out though.

Just went outside to look. Very cool. Thanks for posting this. I have a great view in AZ but always seem to miss them.
