Boy Tony it sure was hard to get that email out to you but I finally got it out.

I'm surprised more people don't complain to Fox about the clutter. I've sent them many e-mails but they must not be getting that many.

That's one of the reasons I gave up my dish. Many time the story was covered by the stupid banner. If I remember Brit Hume show had most of it gone.

I really wish our President would be addressed as PRESIDENT Bush, not Bush. That really drives me crazy. Such a lack of respect shown to this man.

I will consider your suggestion, but I ma going to try it my way of switching days off.

I don't think it'll be a problem since I never do something like this and it'll be my first time, plus it helps that my Assistant Manager likes me.:)

I don't agree with Peggy. I agree a bit but I don't care for how she presents it. Negative. Too negative. She's prejudging Bush before he takes action on the comment reduce spending to pay for NO.

But they still address Clinton as President Clinton (not ex), but the elder Bush as ex or Bush 41.

complain to Fox about the clutter

I have actually seen some of their hosts (Shep, Brit, Brian K, etc.) on-air tell the control room to drop the graphics.

That's bad control when the hosts have to tell the control room to clean up the screen so the video can be seen.

I feel your pain. In days of yore, such respect was expected and given. But, Clinton introduced a certain decay, hinted to when he saw nothing wrong with the question over what kind of underwear he wore. He confirmed that lowering of respect when he answered that stupid question.

Having said all of that, we are now a society of sound bites and multi-tasking. I am at the moment working on dial-up at a tad above 2800 bps. If I were to give everyone the respectful title they deserve, I would never get more than a couple of posts before Tony's show was over.

Peggy is talking about the guy in Texas who went for a swim this morning of the Texas coast. She is upset because he was arrested. Sees it as a metaphor for big government which is taking too much from us and pressing on us. Well, I have felt that way for a long time. It's part of my becoming Republican. The Republican Congress, however, has, in the issue of spending and the expansion of government, been a big disappointment, so I guess I agree with Noonan on that.

I agree. If she is for the party, go for it in a positive way. There are ways to address issues. She has the opportunity to do good by the exposure she has, instead she rants and puts a negative spin on President Bush. She hasn't complained once, how the liberals prevent our President from getting anything done.

I'm not referring to anyone here. I'm talking about the politicians and the media, and Peggy Noonan. She referred to him as Bush.
